Rooftop Delinquents

  Okuyuki Chimeitanken point of view

Class was over, so I stayed behind to ask the teacher for extra credit, since he's the English teacher. The teacher said he didn't have any extra credit assignment at the moment, but would have some prepared tomorrow. So, I bowed and left, the door slid shut, and as I walked my way down the hallway I sensed that someone was following me. I stopped and waited for them to make the first move, assuming it was another gang of ego-filled-to-the-brim guys.

A hand, that was quite rough, held by shoulder. I turned around, my fist ready to fight, but to my surprise, it was just the roof dude, Satsujinishi.

"You forgot your lunch." he said.

"Thanks, Satsujinishi." I replied, but he just stared at me for what seemed like forever. It was awkward.

"W-what is it? I asked.

"Oh, sorry, it was just that your the first person to say my name correctly on their first try. Even the teacher admitted to practicing my name this morning when he woke up." he responded, then grinned.

He had a nice smile, I want to see it again.

That thought was strange, but I just ignored it.

To be honest, I don't even know how I got him over the roof fence, he's taller than an average person two times his age, so he sticks out. His serious expression and thick eyebrows, along with his over towering height makes him seem unfriendly and intimidating. He seems like a decent guy though, so I thought I'd give a shot at communicating with him, like a regular classmate-friend person would.

I didn't have any friends that were human. The non-human friend wasn't even mine to begin with, and I hadn't seen Morgeen and in over two years, even though I tended to him. So maybe getting a valuable relationship with this guy would do some good for me.

Since this episode was so short because of point of view change I will be posting another one today. I also have a question for y'all. What should I name the English teacher?

Two delinquent looking high school boys find each other when one almost falls off of the school roof. The sensitive and self kept Okuyuki(Shy-snow, because his hair is white) Chimeitanken(Deadly-daggers because it looks like he is always glaring at everyone[even though he isn't] which some people sometimes say "They're glaring daggers at me.") and the kind and protective Bakuyoroko(Explosion-[of]-joy) Satsujinishi(Murder-intent[because he is so tall and intimidating he looks like he might kill someone]). As destiny guides them into conflicts and odd coincidences, shaping their relationship whilst also introducing new relationships, and tragedy.
FYI:
This takes places in Japan, so students are called by their last names, so Okuyuki would be called Chimeitanken, and Bakuyoroko would be called Satsujinishi, but only close friends and family are likely to call each other by first names. So you can see why people would think they're delinquents.
