Goku and Cooler are locked in combat, exchanging punches before Goku gains the upper hand and manages to send a flurry of punches to Cooler’s chest. Cooler is intrigued and charges at Goku who prepares to throw another punch, but Cooler grabs both of his wrists and they’re locked in a stalemate. It’s a power struggle to see who will get the upper hand, but it appears at the moment, the two fighters are evenly matched.

“Well this is getting pretty interesting” Cooler states.

“I’m glad you’re amused” Goku responds back.

“I am. But, I would like to see the power you used to destroy my brother the first time.”

“Then, I won’t disappoint.”

Goku manages to break free and land a strong punch to Cooler’s face and just before he can land another one, Cooler quickly comes to and blocks the attack and lands a blow. The two keep a distance from each other and they’re realizing who one another is fighting. Cooler stretches himself out and Goku takes the moment to do the same, loosening up.

“Keep in mind, I’m not like my brother. I want to see the super saiyan that defeated him on Namek” Cooler says.

“So soon? I’m just getting warmed up” Goku responds.

“The warm-ups are over. Let’s take this up a notch.”

“As you wish.”

Goku begins to channel his ki, charging up, and lets out a loud scream as his hair goes from black to blonde in an instant, turning into a Super Saiyan. Cooler is not intimidated in seeing this form and only waits expecting more. Goku notices this and takes it further, wasting no time transforming into Super Saiyan 2. With a fierce flame-like appearance emanating from him, Goku attempts to punch Cooler who easily catches it with one hand. Cooler stares at Goku with a serious look before smirking.

“Once I’m done with you, Earth will be next.”

Goku breaks free and starts to punch Cooler everywhere, but he appears to be unfazed. He wipes a bit of blood off the side of his lip.

“That’s it? I can see how you gave Frieza trouble, but this is pathetic. It’s about time you take this seriously because from here on out, I’m not holding back”.”

“Are you sure you want that?” Goku asks.

“If you show me the other forms you’re hiding.”

“Alright then. Here’s the next one.”

Goku charges up once again and immediately transforms into Super Saiyan 3. The energy radiating form him is so great that the aura pulses around him at a high rate with an electrical discharge occurring around his body. His gi glows a gold color than the usual orange and his appearance shows a few changes compared to the previous. Cooler prepares to fight once again as Goku faces him in a stoic manner.

“I can’t hold this form for long, but I’m going to knock you out” Goku says in a slightly deeper voice.

Meanwhile, the other Z-Fighters are standing their ground against the onslaught of soldiers incoming. Krillin and Gotenks fight back to back before the fusion times out and Goten and Trunks try to take a moment to breathe as several soldiers charge at them. 18 swoops in and saves the two as Krillin unleashes several destructo disks to cut a few soldiers down. More start swarming at them.

“Spirit Ball!!!”

Suddenly, a white energy sphere passes by them and pierces through three soldiers. It twirls around and hits a few others be disappearing. Yamcha arrives and meets up with them.

“How many of these guys are there?” he asks.

“They just keep coming” Krillin comments.

“We have to keep holding them off and find out what that ship is doing to the planet” 18 says.

“Might be a bit hard to do at the moment” Trunks says, pointing at the Elite Armored Soldiers of the Cooler Force are incoming. The Z-Fighters are expressing fatigue, but they can’t give up just yet. They all stand in defense, waiting for them to come.

Back at Capsule Corp, Beerus holds Bulla and watches the turmoil go on in the distance. Whis communicates with Bulma through his staff.

“Hows the dragon ball hunting coming along?” he asks her.

“We’re almost done. This one here is kind tough to reach” she says.

Bulma appears to be helping the Pilaf gang reach a dragonball stuck within a chasm of a mountain. They almost reach it before it slips and falls down into the lake below. Bulma is annoyed as the Pilaf gang hang for dear life next to her on the rope.

“It might take a little longer than expected” she sighs.

Beerus continues to watch the fight with no words to say.
