Trigger Warning Ahead

Laurance during his time in the gang under abuse, they had a victim who they had knocked the tooth from. As a sick form of punishment towards Laurance for screaming they gave him the tooth and forced him to swallow it. Since then Laurance has a phobia of dentists and just teeth. He gets scared of them and is terrified of loosing teeth in fear of swallowing them on accident.
