The best selling portraits came from a surprising source.
Women that were popularly and famously good looking.
Those women bought up many of the first portraits.
We would meet with them. My business partner would be there, kinda average looking in the meeting. Asking a few light questions.
During the image session in our private offices, she would match the client to absolute perfection. Then there were just small slight changes.
Smoothing out imperfections in the clothes.
Making the hair tangle free and believably glossy.
I began to have my own view on the trick to these sales. My business partner simply let a little bit of her own perfection to leak out.
I worried that I might never look at a lovely human women as I used to. Comparing them to her.
Even though she changed features as easily as breathing.
