I woke the next day, still really tired, I almost didn’t hear my alarm. It took me five or more minutes before I realised that I had school today. I groaned when I remembered that it was only Tuesday and that there was still a whole three days left of school.

I actually would’ve stayed in bed if I hadn’t checked the time on my phone. It was already 06:42 and I was just about to go back to sleep! I really need to work on that.. I almost forgot that I had to walk to school. I live a bit of a distance from the school, maybe twenty or twenty-five minutes away. I mean, I could take public transport. But I don’t really enjoy doing that, there are too many bad memories. So I just preferred to walk.

After getting dressed and eating breakfast I decided to start walking, I kind of forgot how hungry I was because I was rushing so much. When I checked my phone again I saw that it was almost seven, so I picked up my pace a bit. School actually starts at seven-fifty, but I didn’t want to be almost late again. If that turns out to be an everyday thing then my year was going to be really bad.

I got bored of walking in silence so I took out my earphones and started listening to music. I listen to a lot of depressing songs, I just enjoy listening to sad songs, not much of a reason behind it, but it’s mostly songs that I liked when I was younger that I still listen to now. Most of the time I don’t really care what I listen to though. When I was little I really wished that I could learn how to play some instruments, but I never got the chance to, and I certainly did not have the time now.

I arrived at school and checked the time again, I still had thirty minutes left before the first bell rang. Which somewhat calmed me down. I made my way to my locker to get my books and then went to my first class before it started. I felt like getting to class early.

Once I got to class I still had twenty something minutes till it started, so I just took a small nap before it got too crowded.

I woke up to the sound of the bell ringing and the door closing. After my mind had finished processing where I was and what I was doing there, I rubbed my eyes so that I could adjust to the brightness from outside. In this class, I sat in the window seat. The worst seat. Well, only when it’s hot or sunny, on other days I don’t mind it.

About halfway through the lesson I noticed the same long black hair a few seats in front of me. I think I was told that his name was Noah.

I kind of remember what those girls told me, I fail to believe all of it. I want to find out if what they were saying was true. He’s top in the grade, and he’s gay, and he’s rude, like a rude bitch. Which I’m curious to find out whether that’s true or not. After some debating, I told myself that I would go say hi to Noah and try to have a decent conversation with him. Even if it scares me to death. I don’t know how to start a conversation at all!

Once class ended, I jumped up and tried to catch up to him. But there were too many people trying to get out of the classroom and I ended up losing sight of Noah. I thought there was still a chance that I could catch up to him if I ran. But when I got outside of the classroom, he was literally nowhere to be found.

“Where the hell did he even go?!”
