The witch and the adventurer both reached him at the same time, and the witch cried out, “You are mine to save!”, but the adventurer held out a ladder, and Glurg saw that he would have to choose who to allow to help him. Glurg thought about this for a second, and he realized the witch has been nothing but cruel to him, so he quickly goes up the ladder. But as soon as he had escaped the river, the adventurer cast a spell that stopped him from moving, and proclaimed, “Ha, I have captured a troll, and now surely the King will make me his knight.”
Glurg herd this and felt a little hurt and he shouted “I prefer the term caveling just so you know.” But the adventurer wasn’t even listening, and the witch swooped down and whispered in his ear, “Do you want me to save you now, my adorable little troll?” Being called a troll twice this set Glurg off, and he began yelling, “I’m not a troll. I’m a caveling!” and trying to kick and throw a tantrum. The witch casually threw a curse at the adventurer, killing him, and then grabbed Glurg’s hand, saying “Come along, little troll, I shall teach you better behavior.” Glurg was astonished by this as he began to say “ I’m not a troll. I’m a caveling, and you’re the one who needs better behavior you threw a bad luck potion at me!”
