The witch sighed to herself, and snapped her fingers, magically causing Glurg to itch very badly all over his body, and answered “Once more, I must teach you to respect me.” Glurg realized that she hadn’t respected him, and he says “I won’t respect you until you respect me! Respect is something you earn!” The witch chuckled, and answered, “I have my own ways to earn respect” as the itch grew three times worse. Glurg thought of a brilliant idea: “Hey I’ll respect you if you let me itch myself and remove this spell the adventurer put on me.”
“Oh, alright,” the witch said, snapping her fingers again, and as she snapped them, Glurg realized that he could move again. With this he could escape the witch, so Glurg had started to swing himself about to lose her grip. The witch just let go, but rolled her eyes and snapped her fingers again, and as she did, Glurg felt himself float two feet above the ground where he couldn’t run. As soon as he realized he couldn’t run he gave up, and said, “I won’t go with you and I won’t respect you!” “Oh, I tire of this,” said the witch, and as she snapped her fingers once more, blackness folded in on Glurg, and he drifted out of consciousness.
Glurg noticed this very similar feeling, but he knew he had to find a way out of this darkness that surrounded him.
