"I heard you go suspended. Mind sharing why to me exactly?" William's mom said.
"A kid had started a fight me and I was defending myself and accidentally punched to hard and made his nose bleed." William lied.
"And is that your father? He had promised to stop that habit." Williams mom said.
"You didn't know dad drinks? Didn't Josh tell you where he got that bruise from? Dad hit him. That's why he left for collage early." William said confused like his mom had just lied to him.
William's mom stood there for a while. Like she was holding back tears. Than she said.
"Start packing."
William did what he was told and had a thought why he was told to back up. His father started to wake up from the sound of boxes moving from upstairs to downstairs. Sitting up he saw William walking downstairs with his hands full of boxes.
"Where are you going? I thought I told you not to make noise." William's father said as he started to walk towards him.
"I'm just moving boxes and you never told me to not make noise. You were passed out from the alcohol. But you don't remember, it's the effect of drinking." William said walking towards his front door.
"Just pass back out Kory." William's said walking downstairs. "That's the last of the boxes."
"When did you get here? And where are you going?" William's Father said.
"Like I said Kory, pass back out from your drink. You don't need to know." William's mom said.
"Then what are you doing?" William's father said.
"Packing of course. And there are some papers I need you to sign. They're in the kitchen." William's mom said walking out of the door.
"Papers? I don't need to sign any papers." William's father thought. "What kind of-" William's father had paused saying. "Divorce papers...."
