Marcus: This overwhelming sadness won't leave me alone. Maddie's at work, and I'm all alone. It's 3:20 a.m., so all my friends are probably asleep by now. I just, need someone to talk to. I don't know if I can do this anymore. I feel like I'm falling further down this hole, and it's so dark. I can't really see any light. The darkness always consumes the light. But at least I have a ladder, this razor blade. I slide the blade down my wrist, it stings. I look at the blade as it drips blood. My blood. I feel myself fading. I start to panic. I run out the bathroom, and out the front door. I feel faint. I go next door to Denis's house. I knock on the door, frantic. Mrs. Hernandaz answers in sweats and a tank top. Her eyes widen when she sees the blood dripping from my wrist. "Oh my God. Marcus." She says worried. She hurries me inside, grabs a clean shirt, car keys, and slips on tennis shoes. "Come on, hurry." She says quickly. She starts the car, and we head to the hospital.
Denis: I hear my mom drive away. What the heck? Lilli just left a few minutes ago. So I'm all alone now. Well, I should get some sleep then.
Gavin: I jolt up, to find that Justin isn't here. I get up to go find him. I see the front door swing open in front of Justin. Only to see my dad. Fuck. Me. Justin and I make eye contact. Before the moments over, I see the fear in his Soulful eyes. My dad shoves Justin down, and makes his way to me. "No!" I see Justin yell, but I can't really hear him over the sound of my beating heart. My dad back hands me, then punches me on the face, and stomach. I'm spitting out blood when Justin tackles him. Justin gets shoved into the wall, gasping for air. Julie decides to stab Justin in the back, but misses and instead, stabs my dad. He waills in pain, as Justin takes this chance to twist it. Justin yells, "Run Gav! Run!" But my body doesn't listen. Instead, I pick up an empty bottle, and smash it over my dad's head. He falls over, unconscious. Taking out Julie. Justin looks at me, dumbfounded. I motion for him to follow me outside. But he kisses me, and I kiss him back. We run over to Marcus's house, only to find a trail of blood leading to Denis's house. We look at each other, and run to Denis's house. Both pounding on the door.
