Childhood-Ramona’s mother was obsessed with making Ramona perfect in all the talents of Apollo in hopes that Apollo will make sure that nothing bad happens to Ramona. Unfortunately, she became more obsessive to where Ramona feared the thought of her Father thinking how bad he could be since he drove Ramona’s mother to an obsession. At age 5 Ramona and her mother moved to New Jersey. Ramona lived a protected life because of her mother’s fear of monsters hurting her daughter soon it turned into her mother locking Ramona in her room so that nothing can hurt her. Ramona, however, has adapted to her mother’s tendencies which means she found out how to sneak out without getting caught. Soon when she was 9 is when the monsters started to show up Ramona was always safe because her mother monster proofed the house. So one-day Ramona’s mom gave her a knife and told her to run away. Run to New York and try to find a long island. Ramona was given money and a jacket then she ran away and left her mom. Eventually, after 2 years she met a satyr who leads her back to camp.
