Duty is a special topic for me as a Marine. And a Marine with a wife at that. It's very difficult to speak about duty as I have my other topics because duty is so personal and subjective. I cant tell anybody else, even another Marine, what his duty should be. All I can offer on this subject is my own view. My 1st and foremost duty is to my wife. As long as her needs and wants are met, I am fulfilling my duty. Any task I perform with respect to another duty; work, church, family, etc., is in order to serve her greater needs. My duty to her is above all else. I'm not perfect at this, but I'm trying to be.
