Prism then explained to steven and pearl that a long time ago in another timeline there was a huge threat to homeworld and that in this timeline the diamonds fused when there was something too strong for just one of them to handle and when blue yellow and white fused they always created a fusion called gray diamond that was before pink was created long story short gray diamond wasn't strong enough to beat the treat ton homeworld so they decided that pink would fuse with them this would be fine if not for the fact that when diamond fuse they don't just fuse themselves but their gemstones fuse to make a new gemstone so almost like your making a brand new gem instead of just fusing them together because of this it puts a lot of strain for gray diamond to exist so when pink fused with them it was too much there light projections became too dense and the gemstone couldn't take it so it separated like when normal gems fuse but after they defeated the threat and like normal they tried to unfuse but they coldent they tried again and it didnt work they tried over and over again but they couldent that when she explained what a "Prism" even is its when so many gems fuse together that the enire gemstones and phisical forms are destroyed and reformed meaning they cant unfuse and they become an entirely different gem after the diamonds reilized what they had done pink already confessed to being rose and was already going to have a child so when pink did they were oviously still prism diamond so when she had a child it she didnt just give up her phisical form they all did and then there I was alone I learned that my powers let me travel through the timelines that gems like saphire can only see but when I stated to travel to these places thats when I reilized Mine was the only timeline where I existed I was so heartbroken until I saw what else was in these timelines and what I saw was you you were so small and and it reminded me of myself and I started to do what I guess you could call observeing but that was 16 years ago this is now thats when prism opened her eyes to reveal she had diamond eyes
