So hey, me again. This is the next day from my recording, I'm currently in the bathroom at a fancy house. Apparently, Tom and his friends like to play board games and watch football on the TV. It's a thing for them. We were playing, and he looked so... devilishly handsome. Going from a sweet smile to a sharp look at me, from head to toes. Like he'd take me right there, right now. And he does it because he knows I get very horny with this stuff. God, I hate loving him.
*sipping beverage*
Okay! So, where was I in the previous recording? We went to comic con, and then the panel. Right? Yeah, so after the whole "how is season two of The Dudes going to be and what can you tell us?", they answered some questions, and people cheered. Tom talked about how he sees Goldfinch when he plays him, Anna spoke about Nightdawn and her powers, and the others also said some words. The panel ended, and people started to get out of the auditorium since it was the last thing for that day. My friend and I stood up and went to the exit, being stopped a few times to take some pictures. Then, while almost leaving, a guy from the comic con staff called us and also took some photos.
After that, he said the words that changed my day. Even more then what had already happened. He said, 'The cast wants to talk to you guys backstage.' We had a couple of friends waiting for us to leave, but we didn't think twice. They would understand, I mean, they knew us. And can you say no to celebrities wanting to talk to you? I'm a fangirl, I live for those people. There is just one answer to this.
We followed the staff guy - Carlos - at some corridors and into an area that I've never been in so many years coming to this convention. I was already feeling a celebrity; it didn't matter what was going to happen. Couldn't stop smiling and thinking of how lucky we were. I mean, how many cosplayers have the opportunity to take pictures with the people that portrait the characters? How many fans are that lucky? And because the cast of The Dudes aren't that famous and this was their first time in an event outside their country, we were even more exclusive.
Can you believe that? I couldn't. Still… it gets me wondering sometimes. Finally, we arrived at some empty VIP space, with a few white sofas and some typical food in a corner for the guests. Carlos told us that they were wrapping up with some journalists before coming here. It took just a couple of minutes, but it seemed an eternity. Margot - my friend - and I couldn't stop giggling like kids, and we had a massive smile on our faces. Like… oh god, how was that possible? What did they want with us?
*people cheering in the distance*
Oh, they're having fun, you probably can hear that. So, I was already making scenarios in my mind, like I always do, that they would invite us for dinner. Then I could hit on Tom Hartley and live a real fanfiction. Then we would get friends with all the cast, and they could take us on trips to the set and… Geez. Speaking this out loud makes me realise how much of a weirdo I am.
Okay, so, they arrived and greeted us just as if we were already acquaintances. Tom threw himself at the white sofa in front of the other white sofa we were sitting, and the others were taking some fruits and water from the table.
"We didn't have time to talk too much back then, I'm sorry for that, girls. And all those people… like, events are crazy. So much energy."
"Yes, there are people everywhere. And you didn't even walk around the convention as much as we did." My friend managed to answer while I died inside.
"I wanted to." Amy Sullivan shrugged while eating an apple. She's is always so adorable and tiny and, oh, I love her.
*glass touching marble*
"Aren't you guys tired of wearing those costumes all day?" Don Mills asked.
"A little bit. But we're used to this. And it's like four days a year, so it's worth it."
"And we had already worn worst costumes. At least I don't have to paint my body on this one."
"You painted your body? Man, you guys do those things for fun, this is awesome." Annie sat next to Tom, but he stood up right away.
"So, if you're not too tired, I thought that you could maybe show us someplace nice here in the city. Like, typical restaurant? Somewhere to drink? What do you guys think?"
*steps outside.*
Don, Annie, and Amy agreed to it and seemed quite excited. I look at my friend, and we both nodded very quickly with our heads, even though we were not from the city. Being the anxious person what I am, I was already making plans of how would I-
*the steps get closer. They stop. Knocks in the door*
"Sweetie, are you okay? We're gonna start watching the game now if you wanna join us."
I'll be there in a moment, Amy.
"Alright. If you need anything, just let me know, okay?"
Sure, honey!
*deep breath. The steps fade away in the distance.*
Long story short, we said yes and went all with the four of them. But I think it's best to tell you about that day at another moment. Yeah. See ya.
