I finish up my research and write down useful thing. I look at the clock and see its midnight, so I put my computer away and head to bed. Then suddenly, I'm in another dream. Once again, Jesse is there. I have control, so I run to him and hug him. I tell him how much I miss him and that I'm sorry. He responds, ”It's not your fault, silly. Its mine, I should've just left with you. You're the smartest one after all” he lets out a quiet laugh. We sit down and I continue to hug him. I began to cry, it feels so good to have him back in my arms.
Sadly, my alarm clock went off. I woke up happy knowing I could see Jesse, at least in my dreams. Is that really him though? I get myself together then I start to get ready for the day. This time I wasn't late for breakfast, I was early. I hear my dad arguing on the phone, so I stay behind the corner and listen. I can't tell what the person on the other line is saying, but I can tell they're someone from work. My dad then says, ”We will never find him at this point. The killer is too smart. He makes sure he doesn't leave prints or anything”. Hearing this broke my heart. They can't just give up like that! So many families need justice. I then make the decision to start my own investigation.
