Shambles in the Dusk [Volume I] Finished

Chapter 6: Ivan [2]

Chapter 6: Ivan [2]

Dec 29, 2019

"Inca te iubesc, Emil! Dar în același timp te urăsc!"

I whisper gently into his ear. I remembered his mother being a foreigner. She had come from same region like my parents, East Europe. I chuckle remembering how hard I tried to learn the other language during those years; I have met him. We never stepped beyond the ocean but my parents always talked about their country.

Emil looked at me understanding well what I just told him. He diverted his eyes while it started to pour heavily. His voice got hidden by a loud thunder. He was mine now, like was that summer day, before all went to hell.

Minutes later the cold drops of rain slowly started to touch our skins. I stood up and pulled Emil up as well and started to walk toward my car. Once I entered I stared at him while he waited for me to let him in.

Then,"walk home by yourself," I let out four words suddenly. Glancing at him and seeing his expressionless face made me satisfied.

"W-what?" He replied feeling the cold breeze and rubbing his arms.

"You heard me well." I opened the radio and raised the sound of music not hearing his mumbling, "just enjoy the nice dusk." After saying this I started the car and drove away looking at him through my front view mirror. He was standing there, frozen.

The rain has stopped. Even though some tiny stars have started to appear, there were still few traces of crimson sun rays into the purple dark sky which has lost into the deep sea near the horizon. Those rainy clouds are still floating across the sky, prohibiting those twinkling stars. The sound of thrilling cool wind and ferocious waves are breaking the silence of the isolated seacoast. It may rain anytime soon yet again. Tonight is going to be darker, more mysterious...

The dark, mysterious past was still chasing these two broken souls...

Theodore is your normal high school boy . Shy, with an obsession for cupcakes and having a crush on one of his friends. He doesn't talk much about his past, but he has three secrets that hurt him deeply or about his sexuality, afraid to be judged by those he thinks as friends...

This story has nearly six years. And is written 70% after a dear friend of mine, with some changes.

Ok, it was my first time writing a teen fiction, on first person and lol the point of view of the characters will be in the chapter title. Beware English is not my language and mistakes might appear.
