As I enter the door, I am faced with Nikki's parents. I close my eyes, sigh, and bring my head down. I take a deep breath, open my eyes, and look them straight in there eyes.

"Mr. and Mrs. Stonegold, to what do I owe the pleasure and how did you get into my home?", I say.

Mr. Stonegold rolls his eyes and says, "Boy, when you grow up in The Bronx, you learn a thing or two about picking locks and getting into houses."

"Okay, then I'll ask this: WHY did you break into my home?"

"We broke in to find Nikki, to see if she was here. Do you perhaps know where she is Alex?", Mrs. Stonegold asks in a pleading voice. I tilt my head to the side, thinking. Then my eyes widen in realization. "S-she didn't tell you?", I ask. Mr. and Mrs. Stonegold look at each other in confusion and ask, "Tell us what?".

My mother sighs and says, "I'll get the coffee and wine. You four go sit down in the living room."

"Oh boy... this is going to be a long night..", Luke mutters.

You got that right Lu, I think to myself.

I look at Mr. Stonegold and see his Angry face looking at me after I told them. If looks could kill, I'd be in the earth's inner core right now.

"So,", he says while his voice rises, "you mean to tell me. That my wife and I are GRANDPARENTS and the mother and father of the child is our DAUGHTER AND YOUR FATHER?!!". I nod as Luke squeezes my hand in reassurance.

"WHAT THE HELL?!!", Mrs.Stonegold yells, "HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!".

I take a deep breath and say, "Since she is pregnant, I'd guess that it's been happening for over a year."

"A YEAR! And no one thought that they were seeing each other?!", Mr. Stonegold yells. I shake my head no.

Just then my mom walks in with 3 cups of coffee and two wine glasses filled with red wine. "Who wants coffee and who wants wine?", my mom asks. Me, Luke, and Mr. Stonegold all say coffee, while Mrs. Stonegold says she would like wine.

After the drinks are headed out, my mom sister down in one of the chairs and says, "Alex what happened in that fight with your father and Nikki? Luke told me about it."

I sigh and say, "Well, we heard screaming and ran towards the screaming. When we got there, Nikki on the ground holding her stomach and my dad was getting ready to throw in another punch. Luke and I interrupted him and I distracted dad by fighting him so Luke and Nikki could getaway. While I was fighting him, he told me that he only use Nikki for her body and for sex and that he doesn't care about the baby or her and that since she is pregnant, he just wanted to see her body blue and purple. After the fight, I drove Nikki, me, and weep to my house to talk. When we got there, Nikki and I started to talk and I said that since he didn't really care about her or the baby, that she had to stay away from him so she would stop getting abuse. She didn't like that answer and said that he loved her and that I was lying. I got mad and the argument continued. When she had enough, she said for me to stay away from her and her baby and to never go near them. Then she walked out, then I passed out.".

Mr. Stonegold stood up and said, " she was right about one thing. You need to stay away from her and that baby.".

I raised my eyebrows, stood up and said, "Are you kidding me? I saved her and that baby. Why do I have to stay away from them?! The one who should stay away from them is my father! Not me!"

"You should stay away from them because you caused this!", he shouted back.

"How did I cause this?!", I yell

"You caused this by not returning her feeling two years ago! She was in love with you and you turned her down!"

"What?! She never told me that she loved me!"

"Yes, she did! It always two years ago! You and her went to a party and before y'all left, she told us that she was going to confess to you. When she came back the next morning, she was crying and said that when she had confessed you turned her down."

I start to think back at that night. And remembered it all. I sigh and say, "Oh my God..."

"What?", they all ask me

"That night, she walked into one of the rooms I was in saying that she had to tell me something... but she ran out crying after she saw. I tried to chase after her, but when I ran out the front door to catch her, she had hopped in a black Ferrari...".

"What did she walk in on?", Luke asked

"She walked in on my having sex with..."

"With who?", my mom asked

I turn to Luke and say, "With you.".
