Once Cindy opened the hotel door Felix rushed in and stood between me and her. Felix shielded me from Cindy. "Michael are you okay?"
" Yes Felix I'm fine. "
Cindy took a step back. "Guys, this is sweet and all but it's getting late and I think we should get down to business. Michael, is there something you want to say to my brother?"
Felix looks at me with his gorgeous blue eyes and I begin to loose my nerve.
Then there was a loud wolf howl coming from near by. Both Cindy and Felix look at each other and they seem to be anxious. Cindy walks to the door. "I'll go handle this Felix. Michael leave town as quickly as you can, before it's too late." Then Cindy closes the door and she runs off.
I'm alone with Felix. He locks the door and I feel a knot in my stomach. Felix starts walking towards me and for the first time I feel afraid of him. I walk over to the couch and sit down. He joins me. "Is everything okay Michael? I can sense your scared. If Cindy threatened you, I'll protect you from her. Or if it's the howl you just heard..."
"No. Felix, I'm sorry. I am afraid. This is hard to say, I was actually going to try to explain my feelings back in my apparent before Cindy brought you here. I told you we needed to talk about our relationship, remember?"
Felix takes my hand and kisses it. "I remember. I was hoping to talk about us in a nicer setting and with a more romantic atmosphere."
I let go of his hand and shift a bit back putting some distance between us on the couch.
"I've thought about us Felix and I don't think we should date. It's not that I don't like you and I am attracted to you. However, I can't get past the whole stocking thing. You following me around for a month and that makes me too uncomfortable to look past. Also, you are a werewolf and I'm sure you know that us dating would be extremely dangerous and I don't feel like taking that risk. I want us to just be friends because I do care for you, but I don't love you."
Then Felix began to growl.
My heart was racing.
I couldn't look away from his piercing blue eyes.
He lunged forward and pinned me down on the couch.
"I thought you liked me. I love you Michael."
Then he started to remove my shirt.
"Felix, stop. I do like you but we won't work out. How could it work with a werewolf?"
Then he stood up. He pulled me up off the couch and dragged me to the bedroom. "I'll show you how it works with a werewolf."
