Seeing the pitiful state the poor little dog the overbearing voice lessened its pressure that it had exerted.

The cowering little god just stood there in place like a deer staring at headlights. It was petrified! What strong god did it encounter now?!?

The overbearing voice simply stared at the foolish pup from afar. It started to ponder for a while. It then considered its options and seem to be hesitant. It continued to look at its disgraceful form for a few more moments and sighed disappointingly.

"Come here my child...", said the voice in a much gentler tone.

"Eh, when did I become its child?", pondered the little dog, nevertheless it felt quite relived that it was no longer in danger.

The shameless little puppy god went on it way and tried to act cute and scampered towards the voice. Trying to add in some cute yips here and there. It even showed its tongue and tried to pant adorably, in hope to curry favor from the overbearing voice.

Too bad the owner of the voice found its cheap little act unsightly and slightly disturbing. Rather than panting, it seemed like it was wheezing for air. The extremely bad acting skills of the little pup before didn't fool the notice of the overbearing voice.

The boot licking gods action really made the voice sigh in disappointment. The failure of an actor god eventually was near enough and the over bearing voice finally revealed its form.

"!!!!!!", a sharp inhale from the boot licking god.

It was a beast in enormous proportions. It was some sort of canine and it had the features of a wolf and strangely enough there were two lumps next to its neck that were bleeding, and it looked like something was cut off. With the knowledge of the animal shape-shifting god, it felt like it had never seen such a perfect form before. Earlier it saw some snakes f*ck-err fighting and could only see their battered and bruised bodies.

As it was taking on a form of a dog and had zero view on what beauty is, it still felt quite inferior before this divine beast.

It had bulging muscles and black fur that glistened even though it was covered in blood. It eyes showed a fierce calm and one could see its sharp fangs. It was currently lying down and seemed to be recuperating from serous injuries.

The ugly chihuahua god can now see why this godly dog called it its child. It was a dog too!

"Father!", yipped the shameless god while it rolled on it back and exposed its belly.

"That how dogs show their submission and trust alright! Please don't kill me ah! We are family aren't we? I surrender!", thought the immodest god.

The godly canine,"....", its eye then shortly afterwards began to twitch.

It was just a term! Not meant to be literal!
