“He has the target at an unknown location. We have all of our best witches looking to trace her and his essence. With the raw power she emits, a locator spell should be made soon. Do we know if she has anything we can use to trace her faster?”

“No sir, all of her belongings had been taken and wiped of any DNA that could be used. The only belongings at her house are her human significant other.”

“Put a tracker on him; he knows something. If worse comes to worst, we can use him to locate Rose for us and kill him afterwards. Go to his house and find something that you can use”

“Yes, Sir!”

Sebastian's POV

Suffolk, Virginia 2023

Rose looked genuinely excited when I showed her everything a vampire could do. I needed to get her to trust me. When I sat next to her, I could hear her sharp intake of breath, and her heart beat faster. I smiled. If we kept going on this track, then she’d love me in no time. Maybe we could get married. I started to go deeper into fantasy. I didn’t even notice my mouth on her neck until she cleared her throat. Shit. I apologised numerously and excused myself out of the room. What the hell was that? It's like I become some lovesick boy when I’m near her. I want to do nothing more than through her on the bed and rip her clothes off and ravish her beautiful body like I wanted to do a couple of years ago. I groaned in my hands and decided to take a cold shower. I took off my clothes and went under the water. I let it splash against my face (lol), and I remembered what my parents told me.

Unknown Location, 1543

“What did I tell you about being weak?” whip. “Tell me what you are?” whip.

“Don’t let me have to ask you again.” whip. “I’m weak” He smiled at me and then he threw me in the cave. “I’ll let you out when you stop being such a disappointment.” I couldn’t move. He didn’t give me any breaks during the beatings today. He just kept going on and on and would beat me harder if I screamed or asked him to stop. I wondered why I was born instead of someone else. Why was I the one who was beaten? Because I didn’t want to kill a rabbit, that’s why I have to beat senseless? I wanted to die in that cave, and I hoped that when I closed my eyes that it would be the end for me.

I stayed in that cave unmoving for a week. I was near death by the time my sister found me. I saw her pretty face and the next thing I knew, I saw dark patches, and soon I saw nothing at all.
