The market is amazing! There are so many things, and they all are really interesting a lot of them are super shiny, but most of them are boring I think that I want some I turn to ask, but quickly think better of it. I think Alia sees me, because she nods and smiles encouragingly. I smile back, feeling sick now. I'm never this nervous, what happened? I turn around to the rest of the group. They seem to be arguing again, this time about something in a shop. I walk over and take a closer look, resulting in me not being able to see.
"Ahem," Alia says, getting no reaction from them, "GUYS!" She screams, getting agitated too quickly. They all freeze, and look at her. They all look like they had been doing something bad and got caught. Instead of saying anything, she points at me, and now it's my turn to freeze.
They all look at me, and back at Alia. She still seems mad, so they assume what she's meaning, and all move so I can see. I walk up to the glass, and I see the most amazing things inside. "I want one..." I whisper under my breath, still staring at the adorable merchandise.
"I don't think that we can keep one at our place, Sagion," It came from Kaden, and I started to wish he hadn't come. His words had definitely dampened my mood, and It was probably showing. I had a frown, and probably puppy dog eyes. I looked at him, and whimpered. His eyes widened along with the others, and he blushed a cute cherry red. I knew I was getting one. Everyone then looked at Alia. I had guilt-tripped them, and now it was her turn. She looked a little put on the spot, but she sighed. "Oh, alright!" As soon as the words left her lips, we had all stormed into the store.
-----In the store---------
I was peering into the cages filled with rare, adorable creature, looking for the one that made my stomach turn. I had read about them, and this store is exactly where you get them. They were like a shape-shifter dragon. It was amazing, because it's body had fur that it could shed and grow back quickly, and it could triple it's size, or shrink to a tenth of it's size. Like an ant, or a rhino. It was about the size of a newborn puppy, and It's original form was a dragon, but they were trained to stay in dog form for their own protection. A lot of people tried to find them, and sell their teeth, horns, or fur. Mainly because it could regenerate, but it was still cruel. I finally found it in husky form. It was unusually small, and it had mismatched eyes. Like my real eyes.
The moment I picked it up, I knew this was it. I turned back to the group, holding the pup like a baby. "I wa--need this one," I said, showing my need for a companion that couldn't talk to me and insult me. Alia sighed, and went to pay with her mate. I skipped over to the rest of the group happily. "What're you gonna name him?" Aloe asked, petting my pup lightly. I had to think of it, but I thought of the perfect name.
"Eros," I said it with no doubts, and the pup in my arms barked in agreement.
"You can't name it that!"
