Shortly after I married my husband, I was told that we have "a real love story." I don't know what that meant, exactly, but it made me laugh. This year we will be celebrating our seventh anniversary and I thought it was high time to document our "real love story." 

I've always felt the need to document our love story. I feel like I need to let everyone know that I married the most patient man in the world. I want everyone to know that I'm the one that got the catch, not the other way around. I want to tell everyone that you are the patient one. You are the one who saw through what everyone else saw as selfishness to see that I really was just immensely confused. And you waited for me to figure it out. 

So this is my way of saying I love you and for our anniversary, my present to you is telling anyone who wants to read this that I got the best man in the world.
