I hated shopping. They bought me girly clothes, and I hated it. I am grateful that they got me anything at all, so I took what they gave me. We have been here for twenty minutes. They can't decide what looks best on me, and I personally think that it's white. I look great in any color, but white contrasts with my dark skin and hair. I had blue eyes, and I used to get bullied a lot for that. I had curly-ish hair, that was styled down, and it was getting a little long. Around shoulder length, and I really wanted a haircut while we were here. My hand went up to twirl my hair, thinking about what I want. Alia looks at me, and her eyes light up.
"We should take him to Lila's!" She shouted, and the rest of the group looked at me, mumbling agreements. I wonder who Lila is. Kaden gave me a sympathetic look, and stood up. I am really grateful for him, because he's been carrying Eros the entire time, and I've seen him get bitten a few times. The others headed towards the door, and I followed them like a puppy being dragged on a leash. I hope that Lila is a good barber, because I really need to get rid of this hair.

After a long time of walking, we arrive at Lila's, and the first thing I notice, is that the building looks old, and like it had been here for decades. I look at the aged building, with the vines growing along the sides, and the chipped blue paint, showing the red brick underneath. The sign looked worn, and under the name, it was listed what she did. Barber, food, and clothes. I was s o hungry, my stomach growled at the thought. I smiled, and looked at Kaden. He was glaring down at Eros, and the pup was glaring back. I giggled, and that brought his attention to me. A light pink blush spread across his face, and I thought that he looked adorable. I bounded over, and petted Eros, smiling at Kaden. He smiled back, looking down. He was much bigger than me, and I had to go on m tiptoes to pet Eros.
Daisy dragged me into the shop, and I welcomed the smell of bacon, turkey, and beef. There were multiple people, and all of them had big sandwiches in front of them. I was drooling -literally-, and heard Aloe laugh at me. I look at him, embarrassed at my behavior, but he pats me on the head, and offers to buy food. I accept gratefully, and he giggles again. We sit down, and wait a bit. Not too long after we had sat down, someone had to ruin the peace.
"Where were you before this?" The question came from Daisy, and I was a bit surprised about the caution in her voice. From my observations, she seemed like the person that got what they wanted no matter what she wanted.
I smiled, "Just up in the mountains." I said it with a stern voice, hoping she would get the sign to back off. She did, thankfully, but that did nothing to stop Aloe or Alia.
"What was your pack like? Did they feed you properly? What was your alpha's name? Do you think they're looking for you?" He asked the questions like spitfire, and I barely caught them. Alia had her own set, of course, but they were about the same thing. Their mates huffed, and I felt the pressure of eyes. A million, pushing me down into the ground, suffocating me, and making the world blurry. The eyes weren't what made me cry, though. It was the answers to the questions. I knew that they weren't looking for me. They never looked for anyone.
All eyes that were once on me filled with curiosity, were now filled with pity. Was I actually crying? What a baby! I shouldn't be crying. I knew the risk's when I joined the pack. I shook off the tears, and put on a smile. They looked at me with even more pity, and I really just wanted to curl up next to Eros. The poor pup was whining on the floor. He had stayed, even if we didn't have a leash. I was happy that he stayed, and couldn't help the chuckle that escaped because of the pup. He had the cutest puppy dog eyes ever.
"I'm so sorry-" I cut Aloe off, not wanting him to think that it was his fault, "No, no. My bad, Eros just bit me, and I was a bit surprised." I smiled, flashing my teeth. None of them believed me, but they left it alone. Kaden was glaring down at my pup, and scolding him for biting me. Did he really believe me? How vulnerable. Sooner than I would like, a burly woman with grey hairs(mostly brown) and green eyes full of joy, came to out table. As soon as she got close enough, Daisy's mate, Max I think, got up and hugged her. Was his name Max? I really need to remember these names.
"What can I do for you kiddos?" She was so nice, it was hard to believe.
"Well,...we have a friend in need of assistance?" He sounded unsure, and she raised a single brown brow at him. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously, and moved out of the way. As soon as she saw mw, she gasped, and grinned.
"He's so cute!" I flinched at her description of me, but managed a smile. Max opened his mouth again, but was quickly cut off by my stomach. I turned a deep red, and the woman smiled.
"I think you kiddos should fill up first." Eros yipped at that, almost as hungry as I was, and ran over to the woman who welcomed him with open arms.
