| You are being transported to the next world. Would you like information before you continue?”
Yes please!
| This world is that of another planet, where some species coexist with humans. That doesn’t mean they truly get along, so remember that. The body is that of a servant boy named Xi Cutuu, he was just kicked out so you should find a job soon if you don’t want to be on the streets. Host—pardon me, I mean Tu Fanchuu, good luck. The male lead is a huge contrast to your personality so you must adapt. |
Uhm.. it can’t be that bad. Thank you, System, please transfer me to the world.
Tu Fanchuu could feel the earth rubbing against his back, little needles poking at his ribs. He made a noise to express his discomfort before blinking his eyes open, laying there for a bit to get used to the light. He used his arms to move whatever was hurting his sides— branches, he was in a garden? In the bushes though? Was it a resting place? A shadow blocked him before he looked up, his eyes widening curiously.
“You, become my bodyguard.”
“Yes?”
He didn’t understand and just responded without much thought before realizing what he said. Bodyguard? He cannot fight at all! Tu Fanchuu unconsciously tapped his stomach, expecting it to be just flat with nothing much except it was now toned!? He stared up at whoever just spoke, a boy possibly around his age or a bit older and definitely carried wealth right through his steps, he was…?
“Who are you?”
They seemed shocked, as if not believing that there could be someone who didn’t know such a glorious man! “I am Quan Molian of course! Son of the 3rd General, I carry such power- how do you not know who I am?”
Tu Fanchuu looked down, feeling ashamed just by the way they spoke. “Sorry…” As he did this, Quan Molian took a closer looks at this servant. The servant was said to always stare one in the eyes, stand up and get ready to attack but this servant here looked timid and delicate? His frame showed he definitely built something yet his eyes were beady and innocent, with thin lips that didn’t look like the type to laugh mockingly. His skin was pale, not tan like a servant usually would have, as if treated with such care.
“You..” Quan Molian started before turning, facing a group of thieves. They were poor and jealous of his money and status, most definitely! He even had looks and the ability to charm beautiful concubines. “You better prove yourself as my bodyguard, you walking-timebomb.”
In this situation, Tu Fanchuu could not do anything! He was useless as he sat on the grass, not daring to move. Those people looked like hunters narrowing their slits at their prey, ready to attack! He was terrified, only capable of throwing a stick at them weakly. “..g-go away! I-if you h—hurt the prince, you’ll be punished!” That was all he could do, the three, who most likely had a grudge only laughed.
“What a silly remark! Punished you say?” The ‘leader’ stepped forwards, sneering smugly. “It seems the ‘mighty lion’ is only able to stutter and cry now! How humiliating would it be to be defeated so easily at this pathetic attempt?” He picked up the stick, the moment he did, he snapped it in half… on accident.
The second of the three gave a confused look, “are we sure that’s even the servant? He was always ready to punch right away, but now it just looks like a maiden with short hair!”
“Tch.” Quan Molian clicked his tongue, unsheathing his blade and swinging it the ‘leader.’ His bloodlust was just flowing, making the air tight for the others. Tu Fanchuu was oblivious to any of this, only capable of cowering behind in hopes he would be safe. “I’ve seen you defeat gangs in minutes but, what are you doing now?!”
In a second, the prince shoved the three backwards using the near edge of his sword, they stumbled back— they would be impaled if they didn’t! They had no weapons and expected the prince to be supposedly enjoying his stroll, without much problem. All one can say is, these three were morons. “We will be back!” They ‘cackled’ as if this was some low-budget cartoon show.
Quan Molian placed his sword back in its holster/cover, nudging Tu Fanchuu with his folded fan, afraid that if he did it too hard, the boy would just fall back and shatter into little shards. “Can’t you do anything? I want you as my bodyguard, not as a side-character that does absolutely nothing!”
“I can clean though..” Tu Fanchuu whispered quietly, loud enough to be heard. He wanted to just crawl away and huddle into a little ball! He disappointed the male lead already, didn’t he?
“But you failed as a servant? I’ve heard of how you only made a mess.”
“...I can clean…?”
Seeing how he never denied it, Quan Molian only shook his head and sighed resignedly. He got up from his crouched position, stretching his arms before starting to walk off. Seeing how the ‘useless servant boy’ was still in a daze, he snapped his fingers and added, “unless you want to continue slouching in the mud, follow me.” Tu Fanchuu gathered himself up, rushing after Quan Molian and his lips curving happily.
Seeing this, the ‘Prince’ felt his heart warm up, he wanted this boy to always be happy. He had that type of childish aura that made him naïve and even so, he wanted to protect him and shelter him from this world. This boy looked only around 3 or 4 years younger than him, and Quan Molian had a brotherly instinct to shield this ‘child’ from all the terrible flaws of this world. “You, what’s your name?”
“N-name?” Tu Fanchuu paused before recalling the name his System has told him. “Xi Cutuu.”
System, how old is this body though?
| Xi Cutuu is 15, sadly— because of his family being servants as well, he’s had to follow that. The male lead, Quan Molian, is 19. |
“When I picked you up, I thought you would at least have common sense. But, you’re so stupid you can hardly remember your name!” Quan Molian snickered, he found it amusing to tease the latter.
S——stupid?! It’s not my fault!
