ONCE UPON A TIME, there was a young widow with her child named Luna. Luna wore a blue hood, sewn by her father for her before he died. One day, her mother sent her into the woods to go bring food to their new neighbor. She set off into the woods with a basket full of goodies. She skipped alongside the path, humming a happy song. Her mother warned her that the path was dangerous and she should keep away from it. So she did. As she walked next to the path she picked up flowers and explored the woods. She came across an opening with a beautiful white rose in the middle, light shining on it. She carefully approached the rose but, as she did she same onto the pathway. "Little girl," a strong huntsman called from behind her, "What are you doing in the woods by yourself?" he questioned. Her eyes narrowed as she inspected the man. Suddenly, he pulled out his gun and aimed it in the direction of the poor girl and warned her of a wolf. She merely sat there questioning the man. She turned around only to be met with a wolf. The wolf told the little girl to run away and she did. Fear took over her body as she ran into the woods. BANG!! The noise ran through her small head. She looked back and saw the wolf again, but this time he was covered in blood. Human blood. The wolf slowly crept toward the frightened girl and transformed into a handsome young man. "I do not believe we have met." he voiced in a hushed tone. Her fear slipped away as the wolf introduced himself as Levi, her new neighbor. He gladly accepted the gift she had and returned the white rose to her. They talked the whole way back to her house. When she reached there another wolf was at her door. She greeted her mother and walked inside with her new friend. She couldn't wait till she could be a wolf too.
