Adriel Llyr Age 16

When Adriel woke up, everything was normal except for the shattered glass beside his bed. No water on the nightstand. Just on the floor.

He rolled over to look at the time and all traces of sleep left his system. He was going to be late! He rushed through his morning activities and made it just five minutes late. The day passed SO SLOW. Even after school, it wasn't over. He stalked over to where the swim team tryouts were taking place. It took forever for his turn (15 minutes). When it finally came, he slunk over and did what he was supposed to do, which he did very well. One of the best, even though he hadn't had much practice.

After the tryout was done, he was directed to sit where everybody else was. He made it close before he froze in his tracks. He met golden eyes. Beautiful, striking golden eyes. He only had time to register the eyes before a burst of... Energy? Shot through his body. Everything faded as he fell into darkness.
