Matthew pov

I'm kinda tired spent a full day at work. It's called dedication.

My wife so beautiful kind and compassionate she accepted our son was a faggot but now she's basically fuming with anger.

Jenica: You know you missed your son's birthday again.

Matthew: had to work.

Jenica: You're lying to me you pick your own hours and who works a day.

She yells at me for a few minutes. I have made my wife mad before every time I make it up to her with some romantic shit or she'll divorce me. I'll have to think about what to do when I wake up.

Jenica: Will you at least apologize to your son?

Matthew: No I think I'll sleep.

While walking up the stairs to the bedrooms I realize maybe I do owe someone an apology.

I say those words but no more I hug my daughter.I realize that I'm actually a good father and everyone else is wrong. I move on to the bathroom and look in the mirror. I discovered I actually have powers it's not a dream I'm lifting things that were way too heavy before. I wonder how I should tell. Then I remember the last time I told secrets to my family.

I am awoken suddenly with a slap by Todd.

Matthew: Todd what are you doing in my house.

I look over at the clock at 9 am I slept 2 hours. Suddenly I realize Todd is angry.

Todd: Waking you up for work since you love work so much you can't stop for your son's birthday.

Matthew: That's dumb you never wake me for work.

Todd: Your wife called she said you need help to treat your kids equally. You've never missed your daughter's birthday and you actually take her places.

Matthew: Well that's just because -

Todd: No ! Excuses just yet. Just why don't you spend with him?

Matthew: I can't be seen outside with a fag people will judge me.

Todd: You're 37 you're 6 feet tall you know martial arts you can handle strangers.

Matthew: But what about the people at the church?

Todd: You don't go to church.

Matthew: What about work Tyler will never let me live this one down.

Todd: You're so difficult.

He leaves I can drink my coffee and go to work.
