Azure Galen and the Cardinal two superheroes with strength above the rest strong enough to lift cars, busses, and trucks.

Galen tends to arrest criminals in peaceful ways with the Cardinal criminals can often arrive with broken bones missing limbs or other injures. Its because I'm so strong he says but Galen has never injured like him.

Both trying to help people but with very different methods. Both unable to be killed by bullets.

The public view them both as heroes but to criminals, one's a man and the other's a monster.

The Cardinal once said "Lets put fear into the hearts of criminals " Galen once said "Lets put love into the hearts of criminals" these different beliefs have sparked multiple fights over the years

Galen pov

Galen: Wow here he is now I'll ask him.

I hang up the phone.

The Cardinal flies in Sebastian trailing behind I look into eyes they are red bloodshot he's been crying. My fatherly instincts take over.

Galen: Sebastian you look tired I'll let you get some rest follow me.

Once we're out of the Cardinal's earshot I sit Sebastian down on a nice couch in my office.

Galen: You're ok tell me what happened.

Sebastian: My dad beat someone probably to death because of me.

Galen: He's not dead just hurt stay relax I'll take you home.

Sebastian: If that guy dies it's my fault.

Galen: It's the Cardinal's fault.

I walked back to the main room the Cardinal is there holding a cup of coffee.

Galen: Cardinal I just got a call from the police they said they found a man who had been punched into a comma would you know anything about that?

Cardinal: Me? No

Galen: Admit it what happened Cardinal

Matthew breaks down.

Cardinal: Fine! He had a gun pointed at my head my super reflexes and my super strength just activated and I hit him.

Galen: Is that everything?

Cardinal: I feared for my life he would have shot me.

Galen: You traumatized your son.

Cardinal: A little trauma never hurt anyone.

Galen: You better hope that guy survives or it'll be more than a little. And they'll be consequences.

The Cardinal puts down his coffee.

Without hesitation, he grabbed my shirt and flies straight upwards. I force him to let go of me and luckily for me I can fly too.

Cardinal: 1000 feet in the air. The sky is for birds you won't fight me here. Loser falls

Galen: I don't want to fight you Cardinal.

Cardinal: Because you'd end up in a comma.

Galen: Because you would.

The Cardinal chuckles to himself.

Galen: My son.

I froze for a bit should I really tell him now he's annoyed but he has to calm down somehow.

Galen: My son has superpowers.

That shocks him he lowers his fighting stance and trips over his words but he finally says.

Cardinal: Jonathon has powers? When?

Galen: 5 days ago

He mumbled

Cardinal: So before mine.

As we fly back down he says.

Cardinal: Sons are overrated daughters are better.

Then Erickson appears he's an older man basically the boss of the Cardinal and I but he's more of a father to us both.

Erickson: You two been fighting?

I looked over at the Cardinal he's calmed down so there's no need to tell Erickson what happened.

Erickson: There's a hole in the ceiling and only two of you can fly.

Cardinal: Galen did it.

I'm just now remembering how childish Matthew is he just blamed me like we were kids.

Erickson: Not gonna work I can read minds remember.

Cardinal: What are you gonna do call my dad? Fine, I'll fix the roof but I have fighting to do.

He flies off. I take Sebastian home, assuring him that everything will be ok.
