Emma woke up and ran downstairs to eat breakfast. When she got to the table, she read a note off the table. She glanced at the slip of paper, with a confused expression on her face. "Goodmorning, sweetheart. We are all at the hospital. Ari fell very ill. We didn't want to wake you up. If you can, please eat your breakfast and come on down here? I love you! :) -Auntie Melissa."
Emma became a bit angry and threw the paper to the marbled-tiled floor and ate the cold spam. "How am I even supposed to get there?!" she exaggerated. "It's not like I can drive or something... Might as well walk. Plus, it's only 5 blocks away."
She got ready, grabbed her stuff, and walked out the door. It was a bit foggy but she found her way through the lowed gray clouds.

She arrived in the clean lobby of the modest hospital. "Hello!" she greeted the receptionist at the front desk.
"Hello, ma'am! How may I help you on this fine day?" she replied with a welcoming smile.
"Um, I'm here to see my cousin Ari."
"Hmm, Ari... Aha! She is on the second floor! Will you please sign in?"
"Okay!" Once Emma signed in, she walked into the steel elevator and pressed the second-floor button. The elevator hummed against the wires that was lifting the box up. When she walked out of the elevator, she went straight to the room her ill cousin was at.
"Hey, guys!" Emma cheerfully walked in.
"Hello, Emma." Hannah and the others greeted.
"H-Hey, Emma..." Ari's voice was very raspy.
"How you feeling girl?"
"Not great..." They all were quiet. Emma took a seat on the floor and watched Netflix on her phone.
"So..." Emma started. "Did the doctor say what she has, Auntie?"
"We don't know, they had to run multiple tests..."
"Oh."
*Three hours later*
"Hello, Pattersons." the doctor addressed as she walked into the room. "My name is Dr. Janet Miller and I will be helping Ari today." He sat in his chair and asked Ari what she had been lately, what'd she ate, and more questions. After the interview, Dr. Miller brought out the beige manila folders. "We've done all the tests and we can't seem to find what was wrong with you."
"Well, then what does she have, Dr. Miller?" Melissa asked as she started to panic.
"We're assuming she just has the flu, even though it's strange to have it in the summer... But just take good care of her and I will prescribe her medicine as soon as I can."
"Thank you, ma'am."
"You're very welcome. We also need you guys to stay here for a couple of hours so we can monitor her." The doctor closed the door behind her and walked off.
"We can't just wait here for so long," Nova said. "What if my phone dies? I'm going to be very bored."
"I can walk back home and get two of our chargers," Emma volunteered.
"I'll go with her," Hannah blurted.
"Let's go."
"Okay."
