A web is not so different from you and I
we do not need to be spiders to make one
for it is the spider that makes us
We are the webs that catch whatever it is
that falls or walks into it.
But alas, then, don’t we also walk onto them?
We do,
& we stay caught in them,
& may never free ourselves.
Making us isn’t hard,
neither is it to get rid of us.
Yet we always come back,
& we appear to be more complicated,
but we’re not.
Truth be told
we’re very simple,
So long as you believe that.
