Scene One: The Fight

Amelia and Gavin sit in Gavin's Car listening to music while the rain pours down hard. They are both in Amelia's driveway after returning from their date. Amelia is nervous and anxious as her hands are shaking while her breath is becoming short. She takes deep breaths inhaling and exhaling as she tries to works up the courage to say what's on her mind to Gavin. Her mind is racing back and forth. She can feel her heart rate. In her head, she’s playing out all of the scenarios of what could happen. Amelia is too busy focusing on her own thoughts that she blanks out until Gavins calls out to her.

Gavin: Hey, are you okay?

Amelia: Huh.. wait, what?

Gavin: Im asking if you are okay. You're just starting the window.

Amelia: Um.. yeah I'm fine ( her voice is cracking )

Gavin looks down and sees that Amelia is shaking.

Gavin: Are you cold? I can turn on the heat.

Amelia: No, I'm not cold

Gavin: Are you sure because you are shaking really bad .. here ( he hands Amelia his jacket )

Amelia: No, Gavin, I'm fine

Gavin: No, you are not just taking the jacket

Amelia: No, seriously, I'm fine

Gavin: No, you’re not; you're cold so take the jacket

Amelia: Gavin, I said I'm fine, okay I don’t need the jacket

Gavin rolled his eyes and sighs

Why do you have to be so stubborn all the time?

Amelia: Excuse me ( her voice gets higher )

Gavin: You heard what I said. Do you need a hearing aid or something

Amelia: Im just going to pretend that I didn’t hear that

Gavin: You know, the whole day today, you have been super bitchy for no reason. You give me an attitude for no reason when I'm simply just trying to help. What's your deal?

Amelia: My deal is with you. That's what's my deal is. ( this is where Amelia's frustration and anger come out .  She fully lashes out at Gavin). I cant deal with your shit anymore! For the past four months, I had to sit and deal with your overbearing clingy, grumpy, moody ass! you became too much for me to deal with

Gavin takes a deep breath, trying to analyze what Amelia had said to him. He is confused and shocked. Amelia's words hit him like a deer jumping into traffic.  After a moment of silence that feels like an eternity for Amelia, she sees the hurt on his face along with loss and confusion.  She didn't except for her to blur out those words, but the pressure inside of her couldn't take it anymore. 

Gavin: You say that I'm moody when really you're the one who has been moody ever since you finish school.  All you talk about is how much you miss your friends and that you haven't found a job. You take out all your anger on me when it's not my fault.  You can't blame me for your friends abandoning you. I told you you didn't need them anyway.

Amelia:  You haven't been supported by me at all! You're part of the reason why my friends left because they couldn't deal with you anymore. When I was middle of doing something that you claim, you'll call me such an imprint, but it wasn't. You'll be banging on my door in the middle of the night asking where I'm waking up my roommates. At times, you'll constantly be blowing up my phone in a thirty-minute span; you'll call me like eight times and send me over ten text messages like what the fuck!  you need to chill 

Gavin: I'm sorry I was trying to be a good boyfriend  ! ( this is where Gavin screams, causing Amelia to jump )  I need to know where you are to keep you safe. 

Amelia: Safe from what? I can protect myself. I'm not a child, Gavin; this is what I'm talking about.  You are suffocating me like a bag around the face that keeps getting pulled tighter and tighter until I can't even gasp for air.

Gavin: All I did was gave you what you expected from me, like affection 

Amelia: Yes, I want affection, but I don't want a boyfriend to smother me all the time, Gavin.  Do you remember the time when we're out on a double date?  You were so clingy that I couldn't eat my food; you just kept touching me and trying to kiss the whole time. 

Gavin: You gave me nothing at all; you wouldn't want to kiss me in front of your friends, sometimes I'll have to beg to hold your damn hand. You're acting like a baby cause you complain about the littlest thing.  What about me, Amelia? When you join your fraternity, I felt abandoned by you barely hang out with or talk me. You'll always say you're too busy studying or hanging out with friends like I'm your boyfriend. I should be your number priority in the first place; nothing should ever come before me, do you understand!

 Gavin slams his fist on the dashboard screaming at Amelia, and the two continue going back and forth, both of them screaming at each other their voices are like a teapot on a hot stove that's about to explode. The rain starts to pour down harder as all you can hear are the muffle sounds of screaming. Both of their faces are red as tears pour down from their eyes, mainly from Amelia, who continues to sob while Gavin screams at her. Her head is burry down in her lap. Gavin's words become too painful to bear until a loud thunderclap in the air, and Amelia screams enough. 

Amelia " just stop it Im done! it's over  Gavin I mean it's over I'm so just so don-  " ( before she could finish that sentence, Gavin smacks her across the cheek hits head her against the car window.  She looks back at him with a mixture of anger but mainly sadness as the Gavin she knew before is no longer there. Gavin stares at her, then he looks at his hand, realizing what he has done. He tries to apologize, but it's too late. Amelia grabs her stuff and runs straight into her house in-dash, and slams the front door close. Gavin chases after her begging her to come back outside to fix things. 

Gavin: Amelia, please come. I'm sorry we can fix this, please come out. ( Gavin is crying, slamming his fist against the door )   I didn't mean to do that. I swear Amelia, please just come out! 

Amelia leans her head against the door, still crying as she hears Gavin pleading for her to come out while he continues to bang his fist against the door.

 Gavin: you can't do this to me, Amelia; you need me, and  I need you. I swear to god you can't do this to me, Amelia! 

Amelia finally manages to get off the floor; she turns to face the door with her hand on the door. She hesitates to open, debating if she should walk away or stay with Gavin. He continues screaming out her name at the top of his lungs.  Amelia takes a deep breath and walks away from the door, and heads upstairs to her room.  The scene fades out with Gavin screaming out her name. 

Fade In:

Amelia arrives in the office.

Scene 2  – Amelia gets ready for work in her apartment

Amelia is getting for her day at work after getting back from her trip. She arrives in an office building while greeting everyone as she passes through. When she walks into the building, she gets excited as she sees her best friend, Claire, standing by the coffee pot. She gladly walks to her smiling while shouting her name, and hugs her.

Amelia: Hey, Claire, how are you?

Claire: Oh ( surprise while also sarcastic ) look who is finally back from their trip after abandoning me for two weeks ( both girls starts to walk to their desk station)

Amelia: Seriously, I told you I would visit my dad for two weeks, and I returned.

Claire: Yeah, I know, but still, I was miserable without you. I had no idea how bored I was. I had to deal with annoying Angie, who wouldn’t catch me a break ( rolls her eyes while saying this ). Oh, by the way, did you hear about what happened to Gavin?

Amelia: Well, your suffering ends, so now we both suffer together.  No, I haven’t heard about Gavin, what about him? ( seems a little surprised by this )

Amelia sits at her desk and turns around to look at Claire with a worried look on her face.

Claire: He vanished when you went away after you broke up with him. Everybody has been trying to contact him, but he doesn’t answer his phone. His dad hasn’t seen him ether him since he left the house.

Amelia shrugs her shoulders and says, “well, that’s not my problem anymore. Gavin is a grown man and needs to act like it. Besides, I don’t care about him so that we can please not talk about him anymore. She turns around, facing her computer, and starts typing. Then Claire decides to ask her about the trip, and both girls continue talking and laughing while the scenes fade.

. Amelia Exits the office building now entering the office parking lot at night.

 Claire and Amelia both say their goodbyes and go in separate directions. Amelia walks towards her car as a random guy approaches her.

Scene 3 – Amelia’s attack and kidnapping 

Guy: “ Excuse me, sorry to bother you, but my battery just died. Could you gave me a jump ?”

Amelia hesitates for a minute before making a decision. A part of her doesn’t want to, but she will feel bad if she doesn’t. She looks around the parking lot to see if the others around, but it's just her and him. Amelia agrees to help him and said she has jump cables in her car; as she is getting the cables, the guy attacks.

Amelia: Hey, what the hell are you doing? Get off of me! ( Amelia is caught off guard by this but is afraid while she is trying to fight him off )

The Guys continue saying ouch as Amelia punch and kick him in multiple places, but he still doesn’t let go of her until he finally picks her up and drags her to his car.

Amelia

HELP someone, please help me . ! ( Amelia is frantic and crying as she desperately pleas to get way him. The guy slips, and Amelia makes a run for it. She sees the blue light that calls the police; as she runs towards the light, the guy follows behind her gaining upon her before she can press the button. Another struggle happened, but the guy can overpower Amelia.

 Amelia is now tie-up in the back of random guys' car.

He punches her extremely hard at the point where she loses consciences. The guy then puts in the back of the car tied up. The guy pulls out his phone and text someone saying I got her, and on the way, he drives off, heading to his location.

Scene 4  – Entering Gavin’s House 

Now The guy and unconscious Amelia in the back seat arrive at Gavin’s house in his driveway, and Gavin sees them from his window.

They pull up to Gavin’s house as Gavin’s looks out the window and see The guy as he carries Amelia to the front porch. The whole neighborhood is dark as their no streets lights on. Gavin opens the door before the guy knocks on the door.

Gavin, “ Finally, what took you so long ?”

Guy “ She was a fighter; she got me a couple of times, but I manage.”

Gavin “ excellent “ ( Gavin does a smirk )

Now we enter Gavin’s house leading into his bedroom that is dimly light

Scene 5  - Gavin confronts Amelia in his room

Both Men carry Amelia's body upstairs in Gavin’s room. His room is tiny, with tight corners and dim lighting. His room covered with band posters and some pictures of him and Amelia... Both men are talking in the background as Amelia is slowly gaining consciousness. When she looks around, She realizes that she is in Gavin’s room and starts to scream. This catches Gavin's attention.

Gavin, “ well, it looks sleepy beauty has finally woken up .” He slowly walks towards her with a knife in his hand. The guy tells Gavin that he has to leave, but he says that Gavin hasn’t given him his money yet for kidnapping Amelia before he does. Gavin tells him that he has his money but tells him that he needs to stay after he is done with Amelia. The guy does agree to stay and watch. Amelia is cut free she makes a run for the door, but the guy blocks her. Amelia is now crying, begging Gavin to let her go. He laughs hysterically.

Gavin ‘” oh no, my dear, you can't get away from me unless … you take me back, then all will be forgiven.”

Amelia “ NO ! are you crazy? First, you hire someone guy to kidnap me and drag me all the way to your house when I should be at home. NO, Gavin, I will not take you back. I broke up with a reason why you can't accept that. (angry )

Gavin “ because I won't, and I'll have to go to desperate measures then I will. “

Scene 6 Gavin Kills a random Guy in front of Amelia.

Gavin grabs a baseball bat and kills a random guy. She tries to get Gavin to stop by attacking him, but he pushes her off and that if she interferes, she will kill her as well.

Scene- Amelia is now being placed into the basement Night.

Then Amelia sobs in the corner of the room as Gavin ties her up, placing duct tape on her mouth, and places her in the basement next to Gavin’s father's dead body. Amelia, still crying try’s to scream until she can not scream anymore. Sitting there in silence as she hears Gavin moving around upstairs.

Scene 7  Lucian arrives and meets Amelia.

Then suddenly the windows start to frost and Amelia suddenly now feels cold she sees a dark black gloomy appear right next to Gavin’s dad's dead body The ghost-like figure has a clock and a notebook and pen in his hand. The figure doesn’t notice her at first until he turns around then goes towards her. Amelia is now panicking, then starts to stream again, but the figure tells her to be quiet and gently removed the duck tape from her mouth.
