"I'm glad that June said yes," Parker grinned as he put his manga's on his desk.
"I wasn't surprised when she agreed," Jumin sighed and he lay down on Parker's bed. "She even said to me that I can stay every weekend if I wanted to."
Parker whipped his head to him and his sparkling eyes looked hopeful at Jumin. "Really?"
Jumin nodded slowly. "Yeah." He cleared his throat. "So what do you want to do?"
Parker glanced at his television. "Well, I really want to start my PlayStation to play Persona, but then you'd be bored. And I don't want that," Parker said as he sat next to Jumin.
Jumin shrugged. "I don't mind," he replied.
"I do, Jumin!" Min yelled. "I don't want to see the spoilers!"
"But you don't even understand Japanese, you fucking moron!" Kyung yelled. "And you already know what's gonna happen, so shut the fuck up!"
"But what will you do then?" Parker asked.
"I don't know. Watch you, I guess?"
Parker turned to the game with a radiant expression but then turned to Jumin with doubt written on his face. "Are you sure?"
Jumin's face went flat. "Just go and play the damn game."
Parker stood up quickly and turned his PlayStation on. Right when he wanted to grab the game, the door of Parker's room suddenly opened. They both jumped up by the sound.
"Parker! Food's done!" A younger girl shouted at the entrance. Parker and Jumin stared at her. She instantly blushed when she sat Jumin staring at her. "Why didn't you tell me that you have a friend over?" She demanded.
"Tessa, what the hell?" Parker shouted at her. "And please talk English in front of Jumin."
"Y-yeah," Tessa stuttered. "Dad said that food's done."
"I heard you the first time. We'll be down in a few minutes," Parker told her.
"Okay." She left the door slightly ajar and walked back downstairs.
"I didn't know that you have a sister," Jumin spoke up.
"She lives with my mom and visits us sometimes on the weekend," Parker explained.
"How old is she?" Jumin asked as they walked out of the room.
"She'll be 15 this year," Parker responded.
"Huh."
Parker frowned. "What?"
"So you're the oldest. Didn't expect that," Jumin said.
"What does that supposed to mean?" Parker demanded as he stopped walking towards the kitchen.
Jumin stopped in his tracks and turned to Parker. Jumin shook his head with a smile. "It's nothing, Parker." Parker pouted and turned away from Jumin. Jumin chuckled and patted Parker's head. "Don't act like a little kid, big brother," Jumin scolded him playfully.
Parker's face turned crimson. "Right," he replied. Parker's stomach growled loudly and both their eyes widened.
"Wow," Jumin whispered as he tried to cover up his laugh.
Parker grabbed Jumin's hand and lead him to the kitchen. "Let's ignore that," Parker said with embarrassment. In the kitchen, they saw Benjamin and Tessa already sitting at the table.
"Took you long enough," Benjamin commented as they sat down.
"Parker was too excited to start his game," Jumin said. "That's why it took us so long to get here."
"That's not true!" Parker shouted as Tessa and Benjamin laughed.
"It sounds true," Benjamin laughed and Parker took a huge bite of his hamburger and glared at him. As he was chewing, he glanced at Tessa who was asking Jumin some questions.
"How old are you?" She asked.
"I'm turning 17 in a few weeks," he answered.
"Do you have any siblings?" Jumin shook his head. "Do you have a girlfriend?"
"I don't, but I do have someone I like," Jumin replied.
Parker felt a pang of jealousy hit him. "Why do I feel so jealous? I'm supposed to be happy for him." Parker took another bite of his hamburger. "Weird," he mumbled with his mouth full and he glanced at Jumin. Parker caught his eye and Jumin smiled at him. Parker's heart skipped a beat and he averted his eyes to his plate as his ears turned red.
Benjamin narrowed his eyes when he saw their interaction. "Are you alright, Parker?" He asked.
"I'm fine, dad."
Benjamin raised his eyebrow. "How naive are you?"
Parker cocked his head to the left. "What do you mean with naive? I'm not naive."
"Never mind Parker," Benjamin sighed. "Just don't do something stupid."
"Something stupid? Like what?"
Benjamin didn't respond. "Do you want some beer? Without alcohol of course."
"Sure." What Parker didn't know was that Benjamin accidentally gave him one with alcohol. When he was drinking his third can, he started feeling a little tipsy.
After dinner, they put the plates in the sink and Parker and Jumin walked back to Parker's room. Parker was playing on his switch as Jumin was taking a shower. After 15 minutes, Jumin walked out in his grey sweatpants and a white T-shirt.
"Parker is your turn," Jumin said.
"But I don't want to," Parker complained.
Jumin went up to him and grabbed the switch out of his hands. He pressed the pause button and raised his eyebrow. "I don't care if don't want to. You reek of alcohol."
"Do I stink?" Parker whimpered as his eyes became glossy.
"Shit," Jumin cursed. "No, you don't Parker," Jumin said quickly. "Don't you want to play your game? After you're finished, you can continue playing it. Or we can watch anime if you like to."
"Promise?" Parker asked. Jumin nodded and Parker's eyes brightened. "Okay then!" Parker went into the bathroom and closed the door behind him.
Jumin looked at the switch. "What is this? Zelda? Breath of the Wild?" He saved Parker's file and started playing on a new file out of boredom. After a few minutes, he heard Parker screaming.
"Parker! What's wrong?!" Jumin yelled. Jumin put the switch down and ran to the bathroom. He slammed the door open and saw Parker standing in a corner with a towel wrapped around his waist.
Parker pointed at the wall across him with a look of fear written on his face. "S-spider!" Parker cried.
Jumin followed Parker's finger to the spider but didn't see anything. "Where?"
"Right there!" He yelled.
Jumin walked to the 'spider' and saw a small dot on the floor. He turned to Parker. "Really?" Jumin grabbed one of Parker's shoes and used it to kill the spider.
Parker exhaled deeply. "Thank you," he smiled.
"No problem," Jumin replied and he looked at Parker's upper body which was still wet. "So are you gonna finish drying off? Or are you planning something else?"
"Like what?" Parker asked and he rubbed his eyes. "Can you turn off my switch? I'm planning on going to sleep because I have to prepare myself mentally for tomorrow."
"For what? We're only going to Ashton's tomorrow," Jumin said as he left Parker in the bathroom so he could dry off.
"There's a chance that he'll ask us to play monopoly tomorrow. And I'm scared," Parker answered and grimaced at the memories as he walked out in his boxers. "Does it bother you if I sleep like this?" He asked as he dried his hair.
Jumin shook his head. "Am I supposed to sleep on the floor? Or do you have an air mattress?"
"We can share a bed," Parker suggested. "It's big enough for two people."
Jumin showed him an apathetic expression. "Okay."
Parker turned the lights off as Jumin walked to the right side of the bed. Parker joined him on the left side and tried to fall asleep with his back facing Jumin. "I can't fall asleep like this," Parker whispered. Parker turned to Jumin, wrapped his arms around him and pulled Jumin closer.
"What the fuck are you doing?" Jumin shouted.
"I can't fall asleep without hugging something," Parker explained as he rested Jumin's head on his chest.
"Why don't you use your pillow?" He demanded.
"Because I'm using it for my head already," Parker replied. "Just let it be for this time. It won't happen the next time," he whispered. "Goodnight Jumin."
Jumin sighed. "Only for this time, alright?" He tilted his head and saw that Parker was already sound asleep. "Goodnight then, Parker." After he said that, he slowly drifted off to sleep.
