“What did you do to Momma?” I exclaimed which only made my uncle laugh instantly. He shook his head and stepped closer. “She’s in a better place now, the complications of this family tree will be no more.” He inched closer after every sentence that came out of his mouth. “No more Amanda, no more Michael, no more Salina or Jamie. They’re all gone, there’s basically no hope for you. Join me, and I won’t kill you; don’t and I will make you die slowly.” He didn’t give me good choices.
I shook my head in reply to this because of how nervous I was of him pulling that trigger. A large chill crawled up my back and subsided along the wall behind me. “You can’t make me choose my fate.” I said as he growled and punched the wall behind me making me jump to my right and out of the way. The impact was so high that it broke down half of the wall. Pieces of the wall were spread all over the floor of the hallway floor. I was shaken up and I could barely move any further; my legs shook uncontrollably, and my arms did the same for they had nothing else to do but lift my upper body. “Be my partner, and together we shall reign upon those who are weak and haul their souls to create one mighty army of robots. This is all to take over this wretched world!”
I shook my head rapidly as my response, he quickly glared at me and groped my arm. His grip tightened as the sound of me squealing in pain escalated. He lifted his arm and threw me across the hallway making me crash into the living room again. I gasped and gasped for my anxiety was increasing after that launch. He threw me. He’s more powerful than before. My thoughts were fading away as William inched closer to me, his left leg was limping, and his right shoulder was slightly slanted. “Don’t do this!” I begged. All he did was grin and walk off into the kitchen.
I began asking myself, “What is he doing?” I could hear rattling in the kitchen, he was meddling. Soon enough, I heard a drawer closing and the heavy footsteps got louder as he reentered the room with a freshly sharp knife grasped within his right hand. Throwing the gun onto the floor, he held his hand up and aimed it over my head. Tears fall down my cheeks and my nose were turning red. “Please, don’t do this to me.”
My eyes closed shut and my head weighed downward, the guilt of me not being able to do anything to stop this was too heft for me to carry it all. William bent down on one knee and stared into my eyes, he said, “long live the king. For your death is near.” I gasped my last breath and soon enough, I feel a sharp object pierce into my right side. I looked down in full horror to see that a knife had been placed there. I begin gasping for air as I slowly fall over to my side and stare off into the distance with the carpet bristles blocking my vision. “Finally, you are freed from your suffering. I am now free of my suffering. We’re all free.” He laughed hysterically and tears were pouring down his face as well.
After a while, my body had already leaked too much blood and now, every limb is limp and immovable. “Why,” I asked, he looked down at me and scoffed. His breathing wasn’t heavy anymore, it was as if he were calmer now. He stood close to my motionless body and looked up; his arms were placed on each side and they were stiff. He repeated that one phrase, “no more pain. No more suffering.” I see nothing but darkness, everything around me was pitch black. All sound just suddenly went silent. My hearts stopped beating for sure, but my brain was still functioning. But how? I’m not even alive, I’m dead.
