"I really wish you'd stop being so childish Lampwick," I told him as I stood in my kitchen doing the washing up from dinner tonight "Especially around my father"
"I didn't mean to" He argues as he stood half out my front door smoking his cigar blowing the smoke outside into the wind as the sun began to set over the sea
"Well, you need to be more careful lampwick when my father is around," I told him "He's never going to like you, you don't show him you can be a mature adult boy" I smiled going to clean the table
"Who said I needed your father to like me?" He asked
"I did" I warn "I need you and father to get along lampwick"
"Why?" he asks finishing his cigar and coming back inside shutting my door leaning his arms on the chair
"because I want the two of you to get along lampwick," I laughed "and you'll need father to like you if you ever plan on marrying me"
"Of course I do" he smiled giving me a cuddle as I cleaned "I just think he'll always hate me no matter what I do"
"Well you could try" I smiled
"he hates me y/n he always will" he laughed "for what I did to his daughter" he smirked
"Well he is still mad at you for that" I laughed
"properly" He laughs
"Thinking of which lampwick can you check on her?" I ask
"Of course darling" He smiled giving my cheek a kiss and heading over to Isabelle's crib she looked asleep still so he picked her up carefully which woke her up and she began giggling happy to see her father bringing her over "She seems fine" he shrugs
"Bring her here, she needs feeding" I smiled taking her from him "Now, be a mature adult and finish cleaning the house up while Your future wife feeds the baby"
"Alright, darling" he smiled giving my cheek a kiss and her head a kiss.
