I stood, by the solom edge of the haunting woods. The tree's higher then most buildings the trees and plants thick, making it impossible to see thought. I stepped inside getting the map from my pocket trying to follow it's instructions. The place was unearthly, the daylight allowed in only in small beams across the floor of the wood. All the trees having a ember glow to them as there leaves changed and fall, the cracking of the leaves under me feet each step I took, the woods misted and quiet, both drawing me in and making me want to run. I walked for what felt like hours following the maps instructions best I could in this thick maze line foliage everytime forcing me somewhere I didn't have on my map and making me double back on myself convinced I was going the wrong way. I suddenly heard a crack across the sky and it began to rain I tried to put my map away but it was too late the rain had destroyed it completly I sighed as the rain has drenched me and I could hear the approaching thunder and the flashes of lightning closing in on the sky, I ran as fast as I could trying to find my way out but as I did I spotted it. The carving I was looking for, the symbol, I was finally going in the right direction I hurried as the Strom was approaching fast and the rain wasn't easing it going to turn the woodland floor into a mudslide soon I noticed the other carving on the tree the second symbol I was close. I ran as fast as I could hearing the crackling thunder and lightning the darkness closing in on the forest when I found it!

The treehouse high above the floor as cosy and beautiful as ever even in this rain I rang the little bell on the tree and the little lift droped down for me so I climbed on and pulled myself up with the rope tiring it off as soon as I got to the house walking across the wood floor over to the door and knocking, within seconds she opened the door and pulled me inside

"you'll catch your death out there" she says lighting some more candles and giving me a blanket

"I'm sorry y/n" I said

"what are you sorry for? Being an idiot?" She asks "why did you come see me during this storm?"

"it wasn't raining when I left home, or when I first came in the woods" i tell her sitting in her little sofa as she made me some tea

"get lost again?" She asks and i nod "I gave you a map" she complained

"it's raining" I complain as she handed me the tea

"drink up, it will warm you up" she smiled "you'll learn the way soon rafe" she smiled sitting with me and giving me a cuddle

"how am I meant to learn the way? The way changes? These woods are like a ever going labyrinth that never wants to let me see you" I explain

"aww rafe, maybe I should come visit you more often" she smiled

"no, you can't you know what there like darling, they'd kill you they found out, and I couldn't bare that to happen my darling" I told her giving her lips a little kiss

"I'll be alright so long as you protect me rafe" she giggled nuzzling into my neck

"of course I would protect you, my little witch of the woods" I laughed
