I smiled giving my little horse buttercup giving her a pet and a cuddle

"And where do you think you're going, Young lady?" a voice asks behind me so I turned and hid everything away as master Sadler stood in the opening of the stables

"Nothing master Sadler" I curtseyed

"Relax I'm alone darling" He smirked, "what are you up to?"

"I was going to go for a ride is all rafe" I smiled

"You're not going riding I the snow y/n you'll freeze" He warns coming in "and your not taking buttercup out in this you can't ride in the snow"

"How do you know!" I argue "I've never tried"

"Y/n you can't ride in a straight line when its windy"

"I can!" I agrue

"ALright, you wana go riding in the snow?" He asks

"Yes" I nodded

"alright, I'm coming with you" he sighed going to give buttercup a pet

"what makes you think I can't go on my own?" I asked

"Becuase I would find you and buttercup in some icy ditch somewhere froze to death, Now I come along or I pick you up and tie you to my bed your choice darling?" he suggests

"Fine" I sighed "But I won't be happy about it"

"Your never happy about anything darling" he laughs giving me a kiss and mounting the horse "come on"

So I smiled and mounted buttercup with rafe behind me, we slowly and carefully moved out the stables into the ice and snow rafe doing much of the actual riding I just mostly sat looking at the snow and feeling rafe's arms around me tightly as we rode into the woods, it was beautiful, spider webs covered in frost, snow sitting on the ground and the trees, a robin sat shaking it's little wings as it sits on a branch

"I like riding in the snow with you rafe" I smiled

"I like riding in the snow with you too y/n, come on snuggle close I don't want you to freeze" he smiled kissing my ice cold cheek with his warm lips "I love you darling"

"I love you too rafe" I smiled

"You know, I've been meaning to ask really.... If maybe for Christmas, I maybe went and asked something, would you say yes?" He asks

"Depends what you would ask" I smiled

"You know exactly what I would ask darling" he laughs giving me another kiss "so? would you say yes?"

"Yes" I smiled
