I giggled as I put little Maddie to bed in her crib
"Honey I'm home" Asa smiles as he wondered in
"Shhhh she's sleeping!" I complain
"I'm sorry honey, I didn't know" he smiled giving me a little kiss "how was your day?" He asks
"Full of shit, vomit and general baby stuff how was your day?" I laughed
"Fine, my audition when okay I think then my agent took me out for coffee while we talked about some call backs, and booked In a shoot"he says slipping his jacket off
"Lovely" I nod
"I'm sorry honey, I know you don't like getting stuck at home with the baby, it's alright free weekend so how about we take her to the zoo or something" he smiled
"Okay" I smiled hugging him close just as the crying erupted from her crib
"I'll get it, you go make yourself a cup of tea" he smiled going and picking her up cuddling her close to him he silenced immediately, as horrible as it is Asa hadn't really much of Maddie since she had been born, he used up alot of his time to be by my side the whole nine months I was pregnant but he had to get back to work now, so since she had been home he hardly saw her which just made her the perfect little girl when he was here because she missed him so much he smiled giving her a million kisses and making her giggle I got myself a tea and one for Asa too climbing into bed he got comfy and climbed into bed with Maddie on his chest still giving her kisses
"she misses you you know" I smiled nuzzling into his neck
"I know, I'll be around more when she gets a little older I promise, for now I got to work" he explained "I'd give anything to be home with her all day" he smiled "Maddie say dadda"
Nothing
"Maddie say Mama" I smiled
"No Maddie say dadda" he smiled
"Say Mama" I smiled
"Mada" she giggled
"Close enough" he shrugs
