"You Sure about this?" I asked as we stood by the entrance to our new loop

"I'm sure, don't worry I'll be back before you know it my love" Jake smiled fixing his backpack

"It's very far," I said sadly

"I know, I'll be home for Christmas" He smiled "I promise"

"Okay" I sighed

"Will you be waiting for when I get back?" He asks

"Of course I will" I smiled giving him a hug and he tightly hugged me back

"Then I'll come home," He smiled giving me a little kiss before he heads off to the loop,

he said he had something he needed to do, he would be travelling so many miles and loop hopping all over the world. I worried for jake, But it's not like I could have gone with him, he promised he would be home for Christmas but I didn't believe him, he struggles getting back from the store on time let alone when he's out hopping across the world and time.

Still, every day I went to the loop entrance and sat and waited for him often taking books and other such things waiting for him to come home to me, eventually, I gave up and went back to our little house helping everyone with there chores

"jake home yet?" Miss Peregrine asks

"Not yet" I sighed

"Don't worry about jake, he'll be home" she reassured

"I just hope he's not lost or anything" I answered

"He's a smart boy, he'll be home don't worry he's only been gone a week" Enoch laughed

"Three weeks Enoch..." I told him "I'm just getting worried, I'm always worried about jake" I explain "You get worried when Olive is off somewhere else"

"Fair enough" He sighed

"don't worry about him" Miss peregrine told me

"I know" I smiled going up to my room, I hardly saw anyone for a while trying my best to avoid people till there was a knock on the door "Who is it?" I asked

"Hello, my love" Jake smiled coming in the room

"jake!" I smiled running over to him and hugging him tightly "Your home"

"I promised I would" He smiled "I'm sorry it took longer than I thought, but I did everything I needed to do"

"I'm just happy your home" I smiled giving him a kiss

"Did you want your Christmas present y/n?" he asks

"I would like it" I giggled childishly

"here" he smiled handing me a little box with a cute little red bow on it so I took it and gave him a kiss opening the little box to reveal ring with black and white diamonds "I had to go all around the world and all-around time to find all the diamonds"

"Must have gone around 5000 miles," He laughs

"Its beautiful jake" I smiled

"here" he smiled taking the ring and giving my hand a kiss "Will you marry me y/n?"

"I will Jacob I will" I smiled hugging him tightly giving him a billion kisses he laughed and gave me a nice kiss and slipped the ring on my finger

"I love you so much" he smiled
