Annoyed but willingly, the cold, dark, mysterious man came out from the depths of the shadows to shake her hand. Finally! She could get a clear look of this mysterious man. Tall, slim, gray hair. Though he had an incredibly expensive suit, probably a Dormeuil. One thing struck out as being odd and intrusive of his slim and refined figure; however, he had a massive scar from right above his right eye all the way to the right corner of his mouth. Odd and chilling she decided.
“You, young lady, drive a difficult bargain.” he said flatly.
She scoffed and said, “That? Difficult? Right…” she said smirking in the damp cell.
“So…?” he said rather impatient.
“So…. I know. For a fact that He is dead. I… I watched Him... die... actually… there is no possible, logical way He could be alive on this earth,” she said with coldness in her voice. Not exactly precise, but definite of what she was explaining.
The odd man cleared his throat, “my con--”
She had held up her hand. Not wanting another sad sob story of how they felt bad yet again. Jaded with the amount of damage He had left. “Transport? 2 hours are running out fast” she said in a toxic tone and pointedly.
Another puff of smoke rose from his lips. “Now that I think about it again… kitten… you'd do so very nicely in one of my… private homes...” he said with a smirk knowing he had her just where he wanted her.
“You fucker!” she said laughing, bemused, realizing what his play was, “we had a deal.”
“Yes, my pet. We had a deal… that deal was… discontinued… He was truly a despicable man, and you, my gem, are one of a kind…”
She was annoyed, “Fine. Like we both said. I can get out of here in 20 minutes flat. With a string of dead bodies behind me.”
“I know my pet. That’s what I’m hoping for...” He knew exactly what was to happen. She was tying up his loose ends for him. And for free! How terribly rude!
“You're very good at your job, you know that, right?” she was annoyed for so many reasons.
“Yes kitten I--” *WHAM*. She punched him in the face hard knocking him out cold. Little did he know that as she was being held captive, she was unlocking her cuffs with a handy bobby pin. She had outsmarted him. Something He had taught her to do very well.
“My, my kitten,” he said groaning after several minutes had passed, “He did teach you well”. He leaned against the cuffs that she put him in while he was knocked out. She pointed the deadly little black handgun to his forehead, and smirked. “Ah my pet, I see you found my little gun.”
“Indeed. It’s a beautiful little piece. A... Mauser C96...? A classic, old fashioned, yet perfect to kill,” as she said this, she twirled the gun in her hands. Suddenly she stopped and stared into his eyes.
“Like we both said, I can, and will get out of here. Lazy or not,” and with that she coldly walked out of the room dropping the keys at the far side of the room. Ten minutes, and several gunshots later, she was out in the street and headed home.
