Slowly she weaved in and out of stores, collecting the goods that she so desperately needed. She was enjoying the warm afternoon and the people watching. Hours slowly slipped by and soon she was close to being done with her shopping. The last thing she needed to complete her wardrobe was the makeup that so cleverly masked her wounds. This last task was the one she dreaded the most.
The store was in the quietest corner of the mall, very nearly completely separated from everything. She hated this part. Quiet, secluded, and a very good spot to be attacked and not noticed. Every time she was forced to go to Andie’s Fabulous Makeup Shoppe, her instincts screamed. She knew it was a dangerous place to go, but she desperately needed that make up. Luckily, as she was walking to the store, there was another couple walking down to the parking lot, making it ever so slightly safer. She purchased the makeup and started to walk out. By this time her nerves were at the very end, and her instincts screamed louder. She played it off as being nervous and attempted to get out of this secluded spot as soon as possible. Unfortunately, her instincts weren’t wrong...
