“You shouldn't leave valuable things unattended.” He whispered.
I could feel my cheeks flush. He must have noticed, because he grinned as he slid the notebook into my hand and strode away. I stood there, my face hot and my train of thought had vanished.
I quickly turned around and stared at him. Would he look back?
No.
No he wouldn't.
As a matter of fact, that was the last time I ever saw him… Or so I thought.

The next day, I walked into class. My eyes searched the classroom. For him. This was the first time anyone has ever caught my interest. I, Aika Hamada, had actually wanted something. I wanted to see Bakugou, and I wanted to never let him go.
But, some things don't go the way we want them to.
After class me and Suzuru started towards the cafeteria. Until suddenly we heard a small explosion, one that was familiar to me. I started running towards the smoke. And there he was.
His hands gripped the collar of another student's shirt. Until I realized who he was holding. My legs went numb and I could feel my hands ball up, shaking. I was about to charge at him when I was suddenly held back.
“LET ME GO!” I shouted at them. “I SAID LE-” I stopped and realized that this person was trembling I could feel it. I looked behind me to see a small bush of green.
“It's okay..he can do this.” He whispered.
I finally remembered who I had heard this small timid voice from.
“Midoriya?” I asked.
He slowly nodded. But still didn't loosen his grip. I sighed.
“Still crying?” I peered at him.
He slowly nodded once more. I forced myself to turn around and pried his hands off. He looked awful. His face was covered in scars and bruises. I could feel my mouth open in shock.
“Who did this to you?” I snapped.
He glanced towards the boy that Bakugou was blowing up.
And suddenly I figured it out.
“Is that why they're fighting? Is he doing this for you?” I said confused.
He then slowly nodded, another tear streamed down his cheek.
“I don't want anyone else to get hurt..because of me.” He whimpered as he looked down.
My blood boiled. Seeing him in this state made me want to smash a brick wall.
I placed my hands at the sides of his and brushed away his tears. I smiled. And for a moment I could see the hope appearing in his eyes.
“As long as I am here you will have nothing to be afraid of. I will keep you safe and I will never let you down.” I then lightly brushed his bangs and kissed his forehead.
He stood there with his mouth hanging open as I ran towards the fight.
Bakugou stood up and clenched his fist ready to slam a right hook into Jun. But before he could step forward, I dashed past him. I could feel everyone's stares and see their expressions. But I knew I was doing the right thing. There is no place in this world for a hero who doesn't stand up and fight for her friends and what she believes in.
I then jumped up and slammed my foot right down Jun's face. It was then that I knew. I had to change because I was going to protect them all.
That was 3 years ago. Now I'm in highschool. And I've got plenty of new friends. My best friend Jiro and I make beats and our own music with Kaminaris help. Along with the fact that Bakugou hasn't changed a bit although he doesn't speak to me at all, which sucks. Me and Midoriya are closer than ever but if you ask me he blushes too much whenever I even look at him. Our class president Iida is awesome, he may look like a control freak but he's actually really nice. Uraraka is a sweetheart and I honestly love battling with her because everytime we fight it feels like we're getting closer. And I would say that Kirishima is loads of fun although him and Bakugou bump heads too much. But hey its high school, what could go wrong?
