I woke up to the usual loud family. Being in a family of telekinetic's is hard enough. Every time you move something is always in the air in your way, like honestly I know our powers are to move things around technically but Jesus how lazy can you be to just pick it up by hand and place it down. So yeah I might be the boring one in my family but that’s only because i’m scared of my powers… Let me elaborate, so if your powers are telekinesis then your power shouldn’t project out of you in any sort of way. It should pretty much be invisible. But with me, nah, it comes out as this smokey blue substance but my family doesn’t know about that yet. They just think i’m weird and don’t want to use my powers and their okay with that. At least i think so anyway. Now, something my family likes to do is play telekinetic arm wrestling. The name kinda explains itself but i’m going to explain anyway. Don’t worry it’s gonna be short so it’s pretty much like regular arm wrestling but you use your powers in order to see whose power is stronger, but of course i'm the weakling. Well anyway I was in my room and practicing using my powers for once and like an idiot I had my headphones in blasting music and my sister walked in on my and saw my powers. She walked towards me and snatched my headphones out with anger. "Kahala: Why didn’t you tell us about this! Why didn’t you show us what your powers looked like!" That’s when the rest of my family came in and she told them everything that she had seen. They forced me to show them and rushed my to the hospital. Luckily the doctor said it was rare but that it’s fine and that i have telekinesis just like the rest of my family. The next few weeks passed by pretty quickly, I was finally able to use my powers with my family and not be afraid of them. However, I was getting tired of losing in the arm wrestling. So I sought out to get stronger and come for my sister, the strongest telekinetic in the family. When I felt it was time we started arm wrestling and like any other time she was winning but I felt this sudden urge of power and my eyes turned a light shade of blue and my sisters hand slammed on the table indicating that I won. "Kahala: H-how did you do that? Why did your eyes just glow? That’s impossible for our kind." My mother saw this and sent me away to a school with other people with powers. Oh did I forget to mention that super powers are not common and that we have to hide them from the world… I didn’t? Well now you know.
