“I want to taste the sun off your skin”
“Okay, do I look cute?” Keir asked as he regarded himself in the mirror that was mounted on the back of his closet. He turned to look at Reid, who was laying on his bed, and hadn’t looked up from his phone. “You always look cute.”
“Oh my gooooood.” He groaned, kicking off his platform Vans and flopping on the bed next to his best friend. He snatched the phone from Reid’s hands, avoiding physically touching them, and stuffed it in his pocket. “You can have it back when you tell me what’s wrong.”
“I just, do you think it’s a good idea to go out with that Necromancer?” He would have been mad if Reid didn’t look genuinely concerned.
“First of all, ‘that Necromancer’ has a name. And why wouldn’t it be a good idea?”
“He attacked you and he has a girlfriend. How do you know he’s not playing with you?” Those were both very valid points, but it wasn’t like he cared. He got Nyx to agree to go on a date with him, and that was more than he got with most people.
Keir held his hand out to Reid, who flinched away from his outstretched hand. “It’s okay, I just want you to see how I feel about him. Take my hand.”
Holding hands with Reid was always a trip. Keir made sure to push his thoughts and feelings about Nyx to the forefront of his mind, so he didn’t have to do much digging, but it still felt invasive. And full. Having two consciousnesses in your brain made things cramped. He wondered how Reid’s patrons felt, as he explored the deep recesses of their minds in search for old, forgotten memories and information.
“Huh.” Reid grunted, and pulled his hand away. Keir got a small glimpse of the amber swirls leaving his eyes as his magic settled. “You dream about him? That’s cute.”
“Shut uuuuup.”
“He was shirtless and everything. You’ve never even seen him-“ He continued, making Keir, rather uncutely, pterodactyl screech and pounce on him. “Stop. Stop talking.” He demanded, pulling his shirt sleeve over his hand so that he could cover Reid’s mouth. “I swear I will-”
Someone clearing their throat in the doorway cut his threat short. Both of them looked up, staring wide eyed at an intrigued looking Nyx. It was in that moment that he realized just how compromising their position was. “Don’t stop just because I’m here,” Nyx leaned against the doorframe, crossing his arms, “I like to watch.”
“You stop talking too.” Keir snapped, knowing his face was beet red. He scrambled off of Reid, making sure to knee him in the stomach as he did.
“I don’t think I ever got a chance to formerly introduce myself to you.” Reid hopped up off of the bed, and Keir knew exactly what he was doing as he approached Nyx. “Reid-“
“I’m Keir’s best friend, Reid.” Keir watched as Nyx unknowingly grabbed his hand. The blond was confused for a split second, before he realized what was happening and tried pulling away from Reid. His grip was too strong though, and Nyx was helpless as he invaded his mind.
He rolled his eyes and went to put his shoes back on. Witch boys were dumb. Reid burst out into laughter suddenly, dropping Nyx’s hand. The Necromancer stumbled back as he tried to regain his bearings. “He checks out.”
“That was unnecessary, you know.” Keir scolded, walking over and grabbing Nyx before he could decide to attack him in retaliation. The last thing he needed was a zombie to burst through his window. “Come on.”

“Your friend is a dick.” Nyx muttered as they slid into his Camaro. He had a grumpy pout on his face, which made Keir want to kiss him. Not that he had the balls to do that, though.
“Sometimes. He has good intentions though.” Keir muttered as he buckled his seatbelt. “Where are we going?”
“The movies.” The engine rumbled to life, and Nyx began backing out of the driveway.
“Ohh, are we going to sit in the back and make out?” He asked, jokingly, and pulled out his phone to check it.
“No,” Nyx looked over at him, with that stupid smirk on his face, “I was planning on sucking you off, actually.”
Keir choked on his own spit.

The movie theater wasn’t super crowded, but there was still at least twenty other people in the theater. The back row was completely empty. Nyx had never disclosed whether or not he had been kidding about the blowjob thing, but when he made a beeline for the top of the theater, Keir got pretty nervous. He was inexperienced with this, and he had a feeling that Nyx wasn’t.
They both sat down, and Nyx gave him a sweet smile before popping a handful of popcorn in his mouth. Keir sent him a nervous smile back, before pretending to watch those pre-movie trailers that always last a billion years. Nyx had probably been messing with him anyway. They were in public; they could get in trouble for that kind of thing. Besides, why would he want to do that with him anyway?
But then the lights dimmed, signaling that the movie was starting. Nyx was suddenly really close, whispering, “Set your popcorn down.” Keir obeyed, setting the bag on the floor beside them. His lips were on his neck, and oddly enough he didn’t mind the coldness. He reveled in the feeling of Nyx kissed and sucked, no doubt leaving hickeys in his wake. A little moan left his lips, and Nyx stuffed his long, slender fingers into his mouth. “You have to be quiet.” Nyx breathed into his ear, his free hand skillfully unbuttoning his jeans.
Then he was sinking down onto his knees and Keir could only described the coming events as completely and undeniably blissful.
