Hi, I'm Genny, and everything I'm going to be sharing with you will be my personal experiences of my school life.
I'm a student at a small private high school. My grade has a whopping 23 students in total... yeah... that small. Theoretically, the small size of our class should bring us closer together, but high schoolers can't seem to leave well enough alone. Most of the time, instead of bringing us together, the size of our class often ends up causing conflict. Petty b.s. drama isn't able to die out as easily, because we're all forced to interact with each other throughout the day.
In most high schools, there's always at least one attention-seeking butthead. (I'm trying to censor myself.) In my grade, even though it's really small, there're around four at all times. There's this one girl who I'm giving the name Alyssa, that always wants attention, and the other three spots switch back and forth between a select group of people. These attention-seekers are always talking behind each other's backs. When one of them isn't there, they never fail to start insulting the person who's missing. I'm morally against behavior like that. Even though I don't like any of them all that much, I don't go around talking about them behind their backs. (At least not to anybody who knows them personally. I do plenty of complaining to my friends outside of school. And now Tapas too!) I just hate the whole frenemy thing. Like wtf is the point of hanging out if you all hate each other's guts?
All of the kids looking for attention lie to make themselves seem cooler. None of them say anything about it until one of them leaves and then they go around criticizing everything the other one did. It's such bullcrap. There's no reason to be a lying butt if everyone can tell it's fake!
This series is going to contain lots of complaining, but it will also have a bunch of really funny moments of me recounting the random antics my class gets up to. There's gonna be a ton of random comedy and chaos mixed into the story. Have fun and enjoy the ride as you follow my not-so daily complaints of a high schooler!
For the sake of privacy (and also for the sake of my safety if one of my classmates finds this), I'll be changing names and other details about people. Although I'll be changing minor details, everything else in this story will be relatively true unless I say otherwise.
Because this is written only from my perspective, opinion, and understanding of events, there is the likelihood that what I tell you is not the entirety of the truth or is an over-exaggeration from me or from who told me something. I can only write from my personal experiences and what I've overheard from conversations.
