The sound of children playing and yelling could be heard around the entire pizzeria. It was day time after all.

"Man the kids are everywhere!" Rory stated.

"You know what day it is." Sue replied.

Both of them walked past the crowd of customers and children to head towards the Parts and Sevice room. They were meant to meet their boss there about the springlock suits.

Rory opened the door and saw him. Sue followed in after Rory.

"Ah, there you two are."

"Hello, Boss." Rory said.

"Are you two ready?"

"Yes, sir." Sue responded.

"Good, now, remember what I told you before about how to wear the state-of-the-art springlock suits. You insert a hand crank into its designated slot and to turn it into its position."

He did a small action to show Sue and Rory.

 "It will proceed to coil the springs into their suit positions, meaning the endoskeleton parts will be compressed and locked around the sides of the suit so you can fit inside it. This is the most important part however: Do not nudge, breathe on, or touch any of the springlocks. Got it?"

"Got it, sir." Rory said.

"Sue?"

"Yes, sir. But what will happen if we do accidentally do any of those things you mentioned?"

"Well, the suit would go back into 'animatronic mode' as the springs will loosen, meaning that if you were still inside of it..."

He paused.

"I understand, sir." Sue gulped.

"Good. Good."

He glanced at his watch.

"Well, I'd better be going now. Make sure the kids have fun. I'll trust you'll leave at the end of your shift and lock the doors as always."

Then he left, leaving Sue and Rory alone in the Parts and Service room.

"Well, let's get to it shall we?" Rory suggested.

"Yeah," Sue replied. "let's do it."

They both did the instructions they were told to in order to get into the suit.

"Ugh, this feels a little weird." Rory said.

"Remember, don't nudge, breathe, or touch the springlocks." Sue reminded Rory.

"Yeah, I got what he said," Rory responded. "It'll be fine."

With nothing else to do, Rory and Sue leave the Parts and Service room to go and entertain the kids. Little did they know that something was in the room with them. Listening. Hearing. And planning. Being the puppet master behind it all.
