My head was spinning. I awoke to the blaring sound of my alarm clock. The clock read 6:00 AM. My faded pink sheets had surrounded me in warmness. Who wants to leave their bed? About 5 seconds later I gradually force myself to get up. I rub my eyes, half awake. I had picked out an outfit before so I wouldn't have to rush. I tried to pick out the outfit that wouldn't make me the laughing stock of the school. It was a plain white shirt, that I tidied, and I made a cute knot at the bottom. Then I pulled up my tight black leggings and continued to get ready. "Ugh, my hair looks like a mop!" I pulled out my straightener and started straightening each strand of hair, one by one. After my hair looks decent, I pulled out my black shiny makeup bag. I would only put on a little but so my mother and grandmother wouldn't notice. When I finished making my self look less-dead, I packed up my light purple backpack with all my homework and textbooks. Tip-Toeing down the stairs I put all my body on each step gently and quietly so I wouldn't wake my family. Bing! The toast popped out. I normally make my self toast with jelly, since that's all I have in my pantry. My mother sleeps until my brother has to go to school so I never see her in the morning. My grandmother as well, except she wakes up at noon when my mother has her lunch break so she can help my grandmother walk. Anyways, back to my part. I stopped taking the bus, I never told my mother I would just leave earlier, like she would care anyway. My school starts at 6:30 AM so I usually leave around 6:30 AM. It's the first day of middle school, what could POSSIBLY go wrong?
