Imagine a log cabin in the middle of a forest in Alaska, surrounded by pine trees buried under feet of snow. There a fifteen year old boy lives with his abusive uncle. He never wanted to be there, or anywhere really, after his parents died in front of him in a car crash on that icy mountain road. It's early morning and his uncle had just left to get some fire wood in the nearby forest. After going downstairs to have breakfast, he returns to he bedroom to sit down and lean against the side of his bed. He manages to put his head in his arms before the tears begin to flow. He cries for everything he's lost and for everything he has been put through. As his tears finish flowing, a strange feeling washes over him and disappears just as quickly as it arrives. After quickly drying his tears he looks around and freezes in place. He's looking out his bedroom window out to where the clearing in front of his window should be, but where the open ground should be he now sees a large stream. After the shock has passed, he raced downstairs, put on his coat and boots, and ran outside. Nothing out there is how it should be. After staring in shock for a few minutes he realizes what this means. It's just like in all those movies and books he's seen. He's in another world.
What do you think should happen next?
