Claire now arrives at the police station. She slams her car door and immediately starts to dash for the door. Before she could open the door, a young policeman sees her running towards the building. He opens the door for her as Claire comes busting in frantically, already out of breath. Her face is red as a tomato—she bents on her knees as she tries to catch her breath.

Police Man: Hey, are you okay. 

Claire: hold ... on  ( she puts her finger up as she is breathing heavily  )  I'm .. trying .. to catch .. my breath 

Police: do you need to have a seat? 

Claire: no, I'll be okay, but I need help with my friend she's been kidnapped by crazy ex-boyfriend Gavin 

Police: Okay, I'll go fill out a report right now 

Claire WHAT? I DONT TIME FOR THAT SHES HELP NEED LIKE RIGHT NOW! (Claire's voice got so loud that the policeman jumped ) 

Police:  oh .. well, I have to fill out a report first before doing anything. Besides, I'm the only person in the station right now until the next person comes 

Claire: well, when does the next person come in. 

Police: it's only 10 o'clock, so roughly about another two hours 

Claire: I can't wait that long. She's in danger now, and every time we spend is more time,e she is put at risk. can't you call someone? ( Claire sounds very desperate ) 

Police - nope sorry, no can  I can't just leave - ( he is cut off mid-sentence as Claire grabs him by his collar over the counter.  Fueling with rage, he notices how tight her grip is, with her veins almost popping out and her knuckles about to turn cherry red.  

Claire - ( sounding very intimidating but also severely pissed off here ) I do not have time to wait. My friend is in immediate danger, so I will not sit here and wait for no one.  So you and I will get in your cop car NOW! ( screams at him, and he winces back) to save my friend so let's go! 

 The cop immediately calls some over to the front desk as Claire continues to drag him until they reach outside to the parking lot. 

Police - ow ow this hurts, can you please stop dragging me. 

Claire - sorry ( she lets go of him )  where's your car? 

Police - it's in the back.  

Claire - why did you park so far 

Police - because I don't want anyone to scratch it up. That car is brand new. 

Claire - okay, whatever comes on ( she dashes to the car ) 

Police-  can you hold up for a sec? 

Claire - No, I told you I don't have time 

Police - okay, but you need to slow down. 

Claire - its not my fault that you're slow like a penguin 

Police- hey! no name-calling  Im going as fast as my little legs can go, alright 

Claire - well, your legs need to move faster! 

They reach the car as Claire waste no time getting in, already having her seat buckle in before the cop could even get in. 

Police -  you know you can be impatient, right 

Claire - well, if you can pick up the pace a bit, then maybe I wouldn't be so impatient with you. besides, I need to rescue  my friend, that's way more important right now 

Police - do you know where you're friend is at?

Claire - she's at her ex-boyfriend house tied up in his basement. 

Police - okay, that doesn't sound good at all. Is it dangerous? 

Claire - Gavin always seems to be crazy but not the dangerous type, you know. Just crazy as mentally unstable at times like at any moment, he could have an outburst. Gavin loves Amelia to the point I could never see him hurting her.

Police - well, sometimes people can change unexpectedly. He might already a breaking point that caused him to snap.

Claire - yeah .. maybe ( Claire takes a deep sigh leaning her head back against the seat ) 

Police- are you okay. 

Claire - Ill be fine. I'm just trying to collect my thoughts. Im just scared that I might be too late.

Police - hey ( he places his hand on tops of Claires) were going to save your friend, I promise. 

Claire - Okay ( she smiles at him )

Police - are you ready?

Claire - yeah, I'm ready  ( in a determined tone )

Police - great, so lets ride ( he starts the car)

The scene transitions from the parking lot as you hear the tires screeching hard on the pavement to Amelia in Gavin's trunk. Amelia tries to scream, but Gavin purposely hits every pothole on the road, causing Amelia's head to strike against the trunk. By the time Gavin had to stop the car, Amelia's head is throbbing so bad that even it hurts to open her eyes. When Gavin drags Amelia's body out of the trunk, she's too weak along completely bruised up to even fight against him. Amelia feels like she is losing concussions, as everything is black and white to her. When she slowly realizes where they're at, she begins to panic. 

Amelia - Gavin, why are we here ( fear in her voice ) 

Gavin - I just thought it would be a good idea to visit one of your friends ( sinister look on his face ) 

Amelia - No, I'm not doing this ( tries to pull away from his, but his  grip is too firm)

Gavin knocks on the door. Amelia's body is now drenched in sweat as she knows something terrific is about to happen.  As the door slowly opens, Gavin immediately bulges the door open. He rushes into the house, slamming Amelia's body dead right on the hardwood floor. Amelia is Horror as she sees her friend Steven being knockdown.

Amelia - Steven, run, please run ( screaming at him )

Steven - huh Amelia ... what are you - 

Steven gets cut off by  Gavin attacking him aggressively, barely giving him a chance to defend himself .. Amelia is in the background screaming hopelessly for Gavin to stop, but her cries are no use. This pushes Gavin to continue attacking more even harder as whenever Amelia is crying out for her friend.

Amelia -Gavin, for the love of God, stop, please, I'm begging you to stop! Steven has nothing to do with this. 

Gavin - he sure the hell does! ( angrily ) 

Amelia - what are you talking about 

Gavin - wow, you don't know  (astonished  by this but also is very sarcastic )

Amelia - no, I don't 

Gavin - do you remember that day back at school when you audition for the drama club play? 

Amelia - yeah, what about ( Amelia stops she starts to jog back on that day and slowly to remember what happen ) 

The scene transition to a flashback as Gavin and Amelia are holding hands walking on Monarch Way on the school campus. On Monarch Way is called the Art district, where all of the art majors are located. They are small cafes, a local bar, restaurants, the school bookshop, and the gym.  Gavin and Amelia are seen smiling and giggling at each other until Amelia spots her friend Steven down the path.

Amelia - oh look, there's Steven 

Gavin - come, let's turn around ( tries to pull her away )

Amelia - Gavin, stop. He's just a friend 

Gavin - I know, but every time you're around him gets all  super flirty with you ( hint of jealousy ) 

Amelia- Steven does not 

Gavin - oh yes, he does  very much so 

Amelia - give me an example 

Gavin - okay...  what about that time when went to mojos for Claires birthday 

Amelia - what about it 

Gavin - he pulls you into the dance floor, and he starts to get super touchy with you 

Amelia - we were dancing 

Gavin - He's was getting too close. That's why I had to pull you away from him 

Amelia- you got into a fight with him, causing us to get kicked  out of the club 

Gavin - oh, okay, so it's my fault  that I was protecting  you from him

Amelia - there's was no need for that Gavin ( she places his hand on his face ). Look at me. I don't want Steven Im with you, okay, so you don't need worry 

Gavin takes a sigh - okay. ..alright 

Steven walks over towards Amelia, giving a warm welcome while Gavin gives an evil glare that Steven can feel right away. 

Steven - hey, I just came out of auditions for the play they're still an opening left if you're interested. 

Amelia - oh my god, I forgot those were today. 

Steven - well, come on, let's go. 

Amelia _ Gavin, can you please come with me 

Gavin - I can't. I  have to meet up with Josh to record our podcast then I have work. 

Amelia - Gavin, please come on ( whining like a little school girl ). I want you there for support. 

Gavin - Im sorry, but I have to go ( gives her a quick kiss ). Good luck, you got this!  ( Gavin walks off )

Steven - hey, you got me, so ill cheer you on 

Amelia - I know, but.. sometimes I wish Gavin can be a bit more supportive. 

Steven -to be honest, I don't know why you're with him. 

Amelia - what do you mean? 

Steven - He's super protective and territorial of you all the time. Not only that, he gets jealous quickly. 

Amelia - I know Gavin has his flaws, but he is a right person once you get to know him. just tough around the edges 

Steven- Im just saying you can do so much better, like way better 

Amelia - Better how? 

Steven- like someone who is kind, caring, understanding, and doesn't guard you like a dog... Im just saying someone like me. 

Amelia is puzzled by this as she slowly backs away from him.

Amelia-  Im sorry but ( gets cut off as Steven grabs her face pursuing a passionate kiss. Amelia doesn't fight this as she continues kissing him back, pulling him closer to her. The kiss continues until Amelia realizes the wrongdoing of her situation than pulls away from him.

Amelia - oh my god ( she is horrified of what she has done )  Steven, Im so sorry, but that shouldn't have happened. 

Steven - yeah, you're right Im sorry 

Amelia - It's okay ... ( there's an awkward silence for a minute ) hey, let's go to that audition 

Steven - yeah .. let's go 

The scene goes back to where Gavin is looking at Amelia with the pain of anger and hurt. 

Amelia - how did you found out 

Gavin -  Justine, who was walking out of the theater, saw both of you. she recorded the whole thing and sent the video to me. 

Amelia - Why didn't you say anything about it 

Gavin - Why didn't you tell me about, huh? ( He gets close to Amelia  grabbing her face ) Why did you keep it a secret?

Amelia struggles to find the words to make it any better. 

Gavin - What happened to trust, communication, and all that other shit you kept talking about in our relationship ( his voice escalates )? Why aren't you saying anything ! ( he yells so loud that Amelia jumps )

Amelia - It just happened; okay, I didn't mean for it to happen, alright 

Gavin -  I can't believe you always blame for our problems, but at least I never cheated on you. 

Amelia - You weren't perfect either 

Gavin - Oh, okay, I see what you're doing  ( he puts his hand on his chin like he's thinking ). You're trying to shift the blame onto me to take the focus off of you. 

Amelia- I'm not doing that ]

Gavin - yes, you are! ( he points at her )  you always do this whenever something between us. You like to blame everything on me, but never once do you ever admit you're wrongdoing 

Amelia looks down at the ground because a part of her knows what Gavin saying is accurate. 

Amelia - Why didn't you say anything  about to me ( her head is still facing the ground because she cannot look at Gavin ) 

Gavin - I tried to block it out... I pretend that it didn't happen. I didn't want to cause any friction between us. At the same time, I couldn't bring myself to think that you would do that to me.

Amelia - Gavin Im so so sorry ( she's crying ). I didn't mean for that to 

Gavin- Stop! Cut the bull shit out. I went back to your house after we broke up to try to make it right. Not even a day after we broke up, I saw both of you making out in your bed from your window.  How could you do that to me! ( he's distraught that he punches the wall leaving a hole in it) you broke my damn heart! ( he does an angered cry )   what do you have to say for yourself 

There's quiet in the room as Amelia cant find the correct words to say as she knows that she is wrong with a guilty look on her face.  

Gavin -Answer  me damnit ( he yells again )

Amelia- I cant 

Gavin- I figure because you're an awful person. So now you and you're lover can both die to-  

 He gets cut off as Steven has some strength to fight back by jumping on top of him. This fight becomes brutal, with Steven already beaten up while blooding still manages to hold himself against Gavin. The boys punch, kick, slap each other all over the place.  Steven slams Gavin against the wall several times, even landing a couple of punches to Gavin. Amelia is cheering for Steven in the background, even a small hint of hope that Steven could beat him. Breaking her free of this nightmare, unfortunately, Amelias cheering fuels Gavin with rage. So much anger that he manages to slam Steven down on the ground, climbing on top of him pulling out his knife. 

Amelia _ Steven, please get up, Steven please ( desperately  crying out for her friend )  

The scene becomes horrific as Amelia knows what's about to happen as she can hear her friends scream in the background while Gavin is laughing at his pain. Stevens calls stop as Gavin gets back up covered in blood all over. Amelia breaks down, screaming out for a friend. 

Gavin- He's dead now .. (freezing), so your cries are no use. 

Amelia - I hate you. I fucking hate you so damn much !! ( in a rage with tears pouring down her face )

Gavin - hate me all you want to ( he gets close to her, leaning down on his knees, grabbing her face ), but his death is your fault. If you weren't going around kissing him, this wouldn't have happened. Im going upstairs  to change, so don't move ( pulls his knife out to threaten her ) 

Gavin walks away from him, going upstairs with Amelia crying. She looks over at her dead friend's body with a sense of remorse and regret. Guilt that she couldn't do anything to save him but regret the fact she shouldn't have kissed him
