“Yes?” Miru innocently looked up at Sasha as he splashed in the water.
“Well...I didn’t want to tell you this yet but I feel guilty keeping it from you so...” Sasha’s inside twisted nervously. Would Mirus trust for him be shattered?
“What is it?” Miru asked anxiously.
Sasha sighed and bit bottom lip.
“Miru...I...I like you. I have feelings for you.” There was a moment of silence. Sasha panicked and rambled on. “I mean, I’m sorry, it’s not like, you know, if you don’t, I won’t mind I just, It’s not-but I, if you don’t like it I, I mean, I don’t mind, we’ll, it’s ok, I just want you to be happy, so-“
Miru cut off Sasha’s scattered words by placing a small, soft hand to the older boys lips.
“Shhh. Sasha...I knew.”
“Wh-What?”
“I could tell...” Miru slowly removed his hand and picked up a bar of soap.
“And...is it ok with you? You don’t mind?” Sasha asked nervously.
“Well...I can’t return it. I can’t have a relationship. But I don’t mind as long your happy just being friends.” Miru murmured.
“I am, I really am. I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable. It’s just...just a small crush.”
Sasha felt awkward. Of all times to have this conversation why do it when Miru was bathing right in front of him?
“****!” Said Miru under his breath, making Sasha glance at him worriedly.
“You okay Miru?”
“I...no. I’m not.” He sniffed. His eyes were red and his lip quivered.
“Miru I’m so sorry! I should’ve waited to tell you...It’s all my fault! How can I make it up? I feel so bad.” Sasha felt miserable.
“No...Sasha it’s not you...it’s me.” Miru sighed, a sob catching in his throat. “I hate myself Sasha.” He whispered, tears starting to fall.
