"Hold the fuck up!" Asakay stood in the entrance, arms held out, eyes bulging. He looked between Inyoninko and Uuzhit, one heading to check which room to take and the other heading to his on the right. "Your girlfriend sneaks in. She breaks in? From the window?"
Uuzhit smirked. He slid his hands in his pocket and shrugged. "I really can't keep her out."
Asakay stepped aside and gestured at the door behind him. "She can't take the door?" Both Uuzhit and Inyoninko chuckled. As Uuzhit leaned against a nearby table, Inyoninko proceeded into the nearest room. At a loss for words, Asakay looked between her back and Uuzhit who peered back at him through dark strands and shaded glasses. "Does she take the door?" He glanced towards Uuzhit's room. "Or is she some kind of spider? Can she scale walls? If she can, I'm not dealing with that shit, man!" Uuzhit laughed into his hand. "Does she!"
Something poked Asakay's back. He squealed and jumped. Inyoninko came running into the common area, finding a young woman standing at the entrance. This young woman had long straight hair, silky, colored dark blue. She wore a short dress featuring a grid of diamonds from black and white to pale blue, high heels, and held a silver clutch bag under her arm. Her lips and eye shadow were neon pink, and she wore large concentric rings of silver on her ears. A pair of bright blue eyes gazed back at Inyoninko. "You're that girl," said the intruder. She looked to Uuzhit, "She is, isn't she? I'd know this girl." The young blue-haired woman sauntered over. Even with heels, she hardly stood eye level with Inyoninko. As she drew close, Inyoninko caught a whiff of perfume. It was not unpleasant but strong and probably expensive. When Asakay stood very close and looked her straight in the face, their intruder seemed completely unfazed. "And you must be the attack dog, huh?"
Asakay blinked and whirled on Uuzhit. "The fuck?" He whirled back. "Attack dog?" He pointed at himself. "Me?" He found Inyoninko grinning. "Not funny, damn it." Looking back, he intended to explain why that was all kinds of wrong, only to realize their intruder was gone, strutting her way over to Uuzhit. Both Asakay and Inyoninko watched. They tilted their heads, shocked and fascinated, as Uuzhit, with a soft smile, opened his arms to wrap them around the young blue-haired woman but she was not nearly as reverent or gentle. The way she latched onto him was possessive.
"She's the dom," Asakay whispered, "Right?"
"Uuzhit," Inyoninko called. Uuzhit gazed back at her, face half buried in blue hair. "Your guest is scaring my dog."
His guest chortled. She spun around in Uuzhit's arms, holding them around her as she beamed at Inyoninko and Asakay. "What a cute dog," she cried but then Uuzhit cut her off, "She's not usually this quiet."
"He's lying!"
Asakay whined under his breath. Inyoninko regarded him with pity and much more amusement.
"Says the queen of gossip."
The intruder batted her eyelashes, smiling with perfect satisfaction. Refocusing on Asakay and Inyoninko, her smile broadened to a super beam. "Iejei! That's my name, Iejei," she declared, fixing her hair as she spoke and brimming with confidence, "I own the journalism department and publication house of this here university," her hands roamed up her boyfriend's chest and shoulders behind her, "I'm the queen of news on this campus."
"Who eats all my chips."
"Nice to meet ya."
Asakay slunk behind Inyoninko. "Evil."
"Inyoninko. This is Asakay." He hissed from beside her head.
Iejei smirked. "Pleasure."
Asakay shrunk back. "Don't eat my chips," he mumbled, "Does she climb through windows or phase through doors? She's a spider. Right? Right? Right. Evil."
With a shake of her head, Inyoninko pointed to the room on the left. "Hide."
Asakay dove in and slammed the door shut, leaving a chortling Iejei in his wake. Uuzhit looked after him in wonder. "He's so flashy."
"Don't." She shook her head and glanced at Asakay's door. "He gets scared by his own reflection."
Iejei chortled even louder. "But he fits in so well!"
With traces of a smile, Uuzhit focused on Inyoninko. "So what about your things? Who will deliver."
"Oh!" Iejei piped in. "Leave that alone. It's the governor's mansion, right? They're on their way! They've already sent some servants, they're bringing your stuff here."
Inyoninko regarded her with suspicion. "How do you know?"
Iejei grinned, a slender manicured finger raised but Uuzhit clapped a hand over her mouth. "Gossip queen. Super nosy."
"It's a wonder you two are dating." Iejei broke out from behind Uuzhit's hand with a squeal, spinning around and hugging him tight. Unseen, as she cried "Of course" and prattled on, saying how much she adored her super awkward, anti-social nerd. Uuzhit looked at Inyoninko, a truly sheepish smile on his face as he hugged his girlfriend. He lowered his head and hid his face in Iejei's hair, making her giggle and coo at him. Inyoninko backed towards her room. "Just," she called out, causing Uuzhit to look up. Iejei glanced back at her from over her shoulder. "Don't get too loud at night."
Uuzhit laughed and Iejei beamed back at her. Unheard by the two, she caught hints of a whine from behind Asakay's door. Smiling, she strode back into her new room.
