"Hey Riley, is that Hogwarts castle?" Ann asked over her shoulder.
"yeah" Riley replied quietly, slightly uncomfortable, as she didn't like people looking over her shoulder. Especially when she is drawing. She just wanted to curl up underneath the table and draw alone in the dark, small space. But she knew better than that. She stayed above the table like a normal person.
"It looks really good!" Ann said with a smile.
"Thank you" Riley smiled back. She started to work on other ideas, drawing more squares on her paper, that resembled the clay tile project that would start next art class. Planning was a lot of fun, but she didn't know which drawing to choose. Riley was very indecisive so she did a vote.
"Hey guys," Riley said, a little louder then she expected. The students at the back table looked over at her. "can you help me choose what design I should put on my tile?"
"Sure! What do you have so far?" Ann and Ivy asked
"Here, just put a mark beside your favorite idea." Riley handed over the piece of paper, Ivy took it, thought about it, and placed a mark beside Hogwarts castle. Then handed it to another student at the table. The paper went around the table and came back to Riley. It had one vote next to the fox and seven next to Hogwarts castle. Riley sighed, the castle would be the hardest to remake in clay, but she was confident in her ability. She smiled, tomorrow she would start the build.
